Down with Steve Ortega. He is what is wrong with the administration of the city government. All he is is a rubber stamp for Joyce Wilson who needs to resign or retire by the First of August. She has not had a vacation in so long. Besides her voice is terrible.

I would vote for Oscar Leeser over Ortega.

The El Paso Times and Foster and Hunt have bought off the rest of the city council. I just hope that there are no shenanigans like there were when Beto Voted the last week of his term in city council. I really want new faces on the council and Mayors offices. Ortega needs a real long vacation from public service.

I prefer to elect a woman this time, preferably one with big cans. Which candidate would that be?

The city council is pushing Ortega and the talk in county atty area, many lawyers have stated they will and have supported him.

In short, cancel the elections, the council and county attys have anointed him, therefore a done deal.

This is a great opportunity to break the strangle hold on the city and stop the musical chairs strategy.

we need to stop all the antics of the city council period. The Northeast representative is a good man but there are a bevy of candidates and there will be a runoff there. Everyone needs to sabotage Steve Ortega's run for mayor. Either Oscar Leeser or Gus Haddad can be relied upon. Too bad someone of conservative values did not run against Emma Acosta. We need a person with spine in her office. All we have there right now is the garbage lady.

I admire the fact the El Paso Municipal Employees association came out against all the amendments.(Takes gut to take on Joyce Wilson) I would have to Assume the other group was the Hispanic organization. Too bad the police and fire departments did not choose to make any choices on the amendments or the candidates,(atleast none that I am aware of yet.)

I don't like our Northeast rep because he's too dark for me. Not his skin color, but his outlook on life. Most of my black friends like ribs, biscuits, fornicating and music in that order. This guy likes none of them which is why I'm calling on all voters to elect a black woman for mayor. She will have style, substance, class and a world class butt for us all to appreciate.
