Monday the pope will tell us all who will be leading the El Paso Diocese. Great News goodbye to the old Bishop ruling form afar. Hopefully he puts Rev Roden-Lucero in his place. Behind the Pulpit and out of politics and writings op-eds too many times.

Excuse me, are you Catholic? If not, then butt out and leave the church alone. We don't need your so-called advice. If you are one of the faithful, I suggest you stay up all night like I am and pray the rosary in honor of our new excellency.

Miss Felder It is important for me as I guess it is for you. I have no idea of your religious beliefs but we have needed a strong Catholic Conservative leader who believes the way Pope Francis does. Turn over the offenders to the police and stifle the political entries of the priest in favor of helping the poor. Since I do not know who is being appointed I will wait to see who the Pope appoints. Say your round of the rosary. It may actually help you when you find one who is not a liberal.

El Paso, TX (KTSM) "Pope Francis named Bishop Mark Seitz of Dallas as the new Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of El Paso. The announcement was made Monday, shortly after 4 a.m. Mountain Time from the Vatican.
According to the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, Seitz has lived in the Diocese of Dallas since 1972, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1980."

Hopefully he will be as Bishop Sidney Matthew Metzger was when he held office here.

I appreciate your reporting on this issue. He seems like a fine choice. He even gave a kidney to a loyal parishoner once so he's humble and gentle and kind.

He's one hell of a bishop. I've seen him in scraps that would make most people wet their pants and he's not afraid to stand up to Cardinal Law or Dolan. We're damn lucky to have him here, even though I am not Catholic.

You might be a lady but you sure as hell aren't a gentleman. I've never seen such vulgar drivel as that which you posted.
