Does anyone know where this building used to be and when it was demolished?

It was in el monte on the corner of ramona and valley. there is a post office that took it place

Cool. Thanks. This post-office is going to be dedicated in memory of our first female fallen Army Spc. Marisol Heredia. Very historic site though, I wish we still had a hall where performers could come to El Monte...

This was the best place to see real R&R.Does anyone know where The Phantoms are now?They were such a GREAT band;they backed everyone.A special thanks to The Olympics,they were tooooo much;and to Don&Dewey too!

It used to be on Ramona and Valley just before the Mall In El Monte CA. Alot of groups started there. The Penguins made a song about it. Memories of El Monte

I saw don and dewey at old van nuys roller skaing rink with johnny otis. My girl friend and I went to el monte legion stadium whenever we could get someone to take us there. We loved to dance and the r & b was just awesome.

I think my dad used to take us to see pro wrestling
here in the early 70s like john tolas,mil mascaras,
and i might of even seen andre the giant here,but i dont remember if this was the place?

I remember when they tore down the Legion Stadium they found a sealed up room full of one arm bandits.
