Do feel free not to read this thread. Undoubtedly, you have more important things to do with your life.
I only looked because the poster's name "Old Thread" caught my eye. Otherwise all you big ducks can have it.

Bush Knowingly Ordered Torture After 9/11, Report Concludes

[The 577-page non-partisan] Study calls it the worst brutality of any American war

http://politix.topix.com/homepage/5620-bush-k...

{QUOTE} A nonpartisan review led by a former Bush administration official has concluded that the US indisputably practiced torture in the wake of 9/11.

Not only that, the kind of brutality seen after 9/11 was worse than in any previous American war because it was planned in detail by the nation's leaders - Bush, Cheney, and other officials. It involved "considered and detailed discussions ... directly involving a president and his top advisers on the wisdom, propriety and legality of inflicting pain and torment on some detainees in our custody." {END POLITIX QUOTE}

(Meanwhile, "GunHugger" posts that President Obama is the worst president the US ever had. I do not recall President Obama starting an illegal, immoral, unjustifiable war which resulted in 100,000 Iraqi deaths -- not to mention 4,486 US casualties -- or ordering prisoners to be tortured.)

A New York Times article says that {QUOTE} The use of torture, the [above-mentioned] report concludes, has "no justification" and "damaged the standing of our nation, reduced our capacity to convey moral censure when necessary and potentially increased the danger to U.S. military personnel taken captive." The task force found "no firm or persuasive evidence" that these interrogation methods produced valuable information that could not have been obtained by other means. While "a person subjected to torture might well divulge useful information," much of the information obtained by force was not reliable, the report says.{END NY TIMES QUOTE}

The Boston incident was terrible but God never promised us a rose garden in this life. We will ALL have trials. I know that is difficult to understand but it is true. I imagine there will be more similar incidents because of the way this world is changing.

Noah's Flood:
The entire scientific community will not recognze Noah's flood because it totally changed everything so that the history of this planet, instead of going back millions and millions of years, in actuality, goes back to Noah's flood. Even carbon dating cannot be accurate beyod the flood, because it is based on a continuous degeration under continuous circumstances. The face of the earth was totally changed. Dawg, and others, check it out.....it is true. You might find out other things are true too. One other thing....when the astronauts landed on the moon they were concerned about how deep the dust would be......12 inches. When they went back the 2nd time there was only a fraction of an inch more. Therefore, they conclued the moon couldn't be more than 10,000 yrs old at the most. Bet you never heard that before! Scientists got that info and buried it! They didn't want the world to know THEY WERE WRONG about how old our solar system is. One thing about archaeologists......they are honest in THEIR findings. HMMM!

CHEERS!

"Norton," when you recognize, and are willing to admit, that the Bible has numerous errors, you will be on your way to your understanding of the real situation.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom, "Norton." Until you told me, I figured that the Boston incident was going to be the very last one ever.

I guess the world is not changing, after all. Thanks for the "heads up."

So Noah's Flood erased the millions and millions of years of the history of this planet, and set the clock forward to Noah's Flood?

Yep. No doubt about it. Noah's Flood stopped carbon dating dead in its tracks.

Yep. Finding that the dust on the moon had only increased a fraction of an inch more between astronaut visits, certainly proves that the moon is less than 10,000 years old! Makes sense to me. The scientists should not have buried this important bit of information, which proves that the earth is also less than 10,000 years old.

Shoot fire! Everybody knows that, when you add up all the "begats" in the Old Testament, the world is only 6,000 years old. It's in the Bible, so it must be true!

Yes this thread is pretty much like a soap opera. You can stay away for awhile and the same old things are being said by the same base participants. Boring is right.
But here you are posting on this thread and even answering your own posts pretending to be two different posters.

It must not be as boring for you as you claim. Try not to screw up again and accidentally post with your Smithville ISP (wink).
