Ask your pretend horse KEVIN!
Sue Wallis' Unified Equine announced yesterday that Rockville, Missouri , population 150 or so, would be home to the company's first food-grade horse slaughter plant by the end of the summer.

Game over, Slaughterhouse Sue, Mindy Patterson,
etc. No horses will be slaughtered in Rockville
anywhere else in the U.S.! Potential investors
in American Beef better be aware or get
burned in this latest scam by Slaughterhouse Sue.
The Farm Bill that would have allowed a loophole
for horse slaughter was just closed Thursday,
defeated in the House. Missouri reps. Graves and
Smith voted for a bill which was illogically tied
to cuts in food stamp programs. As Marie Antoinette
might have said I guess the message from Graves and
Smith was:'the people want bread ? Let them eat
toxic horse meat'.

So, what's so terrible about slaughtering horses? Not trolling, just really want to know.
#259 Jun 28, 2013
So what's so terrible about slaughtering trolls
who ask stupid questions to provoke arguments ?
Or is this you again Slaughterhouse Sue ? I just
want really want to know !
#260 Jul 4, 2013
@ a horse; There's no cause for you to be so hostile. The question may be simple, but it isn't stupid.
If you oppose slaughtering horses, that's just fine. I was simply wanting to see a rational, intelligent response to the very simple question (what's so terrible with slaughtering horses?). Your hyper-emotional and hateful response does very little to support your side of this issue. In fact, it only serves to paint all of those opposing horse slaughter as immature, unintelligent, hateful people who simply want the world to comply with their own emotional demands without any regard for logic or reasoning.
I do not want to completely discount all of those opposing horse slaughter as being simple-minded twits governed strictly by emotion. I will just consider you to be an unfortunate representative of that side of the debate and not necessarily an accurate representation of the entire group of people who oppose horse slaughter.
You do your side of this argument a great disservice when you post things like you do. If you really want to help your cause, perhaps you should ask an adult to review and approve your contributions to these conversations prior to posting them. Or you could simply remain quiet and learn while the adults discuss these issues.

now I know it's you Slaughterhouse Sue or possibly
your near clone, Mindy "Puppy Mill" Patterson !
The same old song about your approach being logical
while everyone else is emotional. You want logic,
here you go :
premiss: horses aren't raised to be eaten.
premiss: horses have toxins in their system
permanently banned for human consumption as
cancer-causing (hence the uproar in Europe !)
conclusion: horses shouldn't be slaughtered for
Here's another Logic Queen :
premiss: 75-80% of Americans polled oppose use of
federal tax dollars for slaughtering horses
premiss: the D.E.A. itself wants horse slaughter
conclusion: to issue permits for horse slaughter
is contrary to American democracy and contradictory
for the D.E.A. itself.
Now put on your thinking cap Sue/Mindy and answer
in the same form and no emotion please !

I had no idea that the DEA had been distracted by horse slaughter.... No wonder drugs are still such a problem.

@ a horse:
I was quite entertained by your response. Please do yourself the favor of looking up AND comprehending the word premis.
I take it you have no adults willing to help you in your cause.
It's sad, really.
I do wish you well.
