They spend a lot of their time with all the high dollar equipment in the Raley's parking lot while shopping for dinner items. By the looks of their carts, they are eating pretty well.

Firefighters belong to one of the most powerful unions of all. They make outrageously high salaries, overtime, benefits, and let's not forget the lifetime pensions when they retire at a younger age than most Americans. They spend most of their time sleeping, shopping, cruising around, cooking, a little time training and responding to calls. True, we depend on them for work most of us are not trained to do. But - nobody coerced them into becoming firefighters. In all of 2009 there were a total of 9 structure fires in the El Dorado Hills district. This is an example of unions at their best - for members, worst - for taxpayers. Also of note, but as you would expect, firefighters are overwhelming DemocRATs.

Police officer unions are a close second.Have you noticed how so many of them go out on diability at a carefully calculated point in their "careers" so as to maximize what they can steal from the tax payers? Then they march out with their scare tactics anytime the tax payers try to reel them in.They pad the crime statistics to try to validate their numbers and the cost to those of us who actually work. They sneak around, hiding out in their patrol cars sleeping. If you are out late in this county you will get pulled over for a made up reason, have a flashlight shined in your eyes,Have some young punk tell you that your pupils are too big or too small for their liking and after your rights are completely violated they might let you go on your way.All because you were out trying to do some grocery shopping at two in the morning. At least the firefighters don't usually make up BS stories to try to turn honest working people into criminals.
