I bought a starter there with a lifetime warranty . The teeth on the starter gear got chewed up due to a malfunction that caused the starter to not disengage .they first told me that a replacement was not in stock and I would have to take the one off the car and leave it with them while I wait for another one to come in. Then when it came down to it and I brought it in the guy at the counter would not replace it and offered to sell me another one with a life time warranty . "LIFETIME WARRANTY"!!!! What a joke! They just lost my business for the rest of my lifetime! There must still be a local owned mom and pop auto parts store left here somewhere. That's where I'm going..

Quit going to advanced and o'reillys and use a reputable parts house like stover or napa.

You must give up easy because if you have a receipt you get a starter,if the counter guy wont cooperate come back and talk to the manager. No luck there go above his head.Your owed a starter and your flywheel isn't chewed don't let them claim it is.

Yes, and if you're gay, you should just admit it.

fly wheel ring gear is in great shape. It was obviously made from better metal than the starter gear. All this has been confirmed by a highly recommended starter and alternator repair shop who now has all my business. And as far as the spelling geek goes .. When I was getting my masters and phd in English grammar so I could work on starters I guess I should of payed more attention in spelling class. Like I give a rats ass .

Advanced has given me the wrong things several time!! I stick with O'Riley's! They know what they are doing and always make sure you are satisfied.
