Mid South Heat and Air

Anybody else receive bad service from these guys. I will never deal with this company again. Anybody have another source for heating and air?

we use Glenn Mechanical. they are always nice and do good work and will normally be there within 2 hours of your call instead of waiting the whole day or more.

Glenn Mechanical put in a new central unit for me. No problems. After the man finished the job, another man came out and inspected the work and made sure everything was done satisfactorily. He even fixed a couple of things that didn't suit him. Took two days. One day for the look see and making arrangements. The second day for the work. They wiped their feet and cleaned up afterwards. They also paid for repair to a wall where they scraped the paint in a few places. They do want their money fast, though.

I have used both Glenn Mechanical and Mid South. I havent had any problems with either of the units in my house. I knwo that the guys at Glenn Mechanical were a lot nicer than Mid South but I just figured they must have been busy that day.

Mid south has been great for us!!! anytime i have called they were here fast.
The poor guy has even dug around in our air vents, we kept smelling a bad smell. and when i had the thing open i guess i let in a baby lizard. he died in our vent and mid south came out and lokked till he found the problem. weve had a motor to go out and they came before lunch.
So i have lots to say good for midsouth!!

Sounds like I am calling Glenn mechanical. Carla, You must be cute cause the guy that came to our place was rude and lazy and when I called the office they were even more rude. Glenn's it is. Thanks for the input.

Better call the bank first, Glenns and Mid South are the highest prices in the state....Middleton from little Rock can come here cheaper....I recommend calling smaller company's, They do better work because their name depends on it. Word of mouth is their only advertising so they must do well to stay in biz....Glenns and Mid S. Both have been known to tamper with your equipment irony summer calls in order to get winter calls and make more money

Yea, I recommend we all use Little Rock and other out of town companies, except we'll all have to live there because there will not be any jobs in El Dorado! That's the ticket.

Here's some food for thought. Maybe the service you got from MSHA was from a shitty technician. Although his work reflects the company, you should not take this and blast the company. If you felt that his work was not satisfactory, then you should have contacted the business. During this contact, which should be directed to a foreman, manager, or even owner, you should have explained that you were not happy with the work performed. I'm sure a representative from the company would have been more than happy to come on site and inspect your complaint. In the event that his work was not good, I'm sure the problem would have been repair appropriately by another technician. Most likely the first technician would be terminated. All it would take is for you and any others to file a complaint directly and this would not happen. In the event that you do not get the results you are looking for, continue to climb the food chain until reach the person who does give a shit. This usually is achieved by speaking to the owner or the person who is the manager beneath the owner. Calling the office and talking the person who answers the phone is not the ticket. Get smart.

Oh wickedwizard, I love how you assume I just talked to someone that "Answers the phone" I had spoke with upper management and he was as rude as the tech. Sounds like maybe you work there? and get smart? loved that show!

Completely the opposite for me. They didn't complete an installation, so it threw a breaker, and I had to pay to have someone else come and finish it. Remember to inspect an installation and ask detailed questions, because you will not get any portion of your money back from Glenn.

Why would anybody, in their right mind, want to contact the"OWNER"..
HE is the very one who orchestrates the plan to screw the consumer and chooses who he will screw, example: seniors, widows and widowers.. In other words, people who are less likely to have anyone else to represent them and won't fight back. Integrity?? None. His asshat techs just do what they are told, and keep their mouth shut..

Update: spoken with owner, he has agreed to rectify my complaint. Have to give him credit for doing the right thing..
