I just wondered who everyone thought was the best cop at the El Dorado Police Deparment... I hear all the cop bashing and the ones that are taking up for some of the cops but really nothing good about any of them. If you had to choose one of them who would it be?

Officer Winthrop-very good at public service
Ricky Goode was a very good officer at the PD I received calls from grateful citizens about him all the time.
And there are several others that I find very inspiring as well.

I hate any police officer that takes a personal call that ends up having to end with a juryless trial.

Personally, I think anyone that decides to put on a badge is to be commended. Granted, nobody is perfect, and I'm sure that there are some that make poor choices from time to time, but by and large, if you wear the badge, you have my gratitude.

But hey, that's just me. Maybe I'm a little crazy...

I did quit for many reasons, none of which had to do with failing to do anything or criminals. Get your facts straight before making untrue accusations and don't hide behind some BS name (hoo ha). Thanks to those who know me and know I did my best! It's not over yet!!!! Ha!

I agree with you on that one. Thats one job that I wouldnt have the balls to do. That says something for each and everyone of them out there on the streets. I am sure that there are some that are there for the wrong reasons but for the most part I think they are all pretty good at what they do and how they are willing to risk their lives to save someone elses. I guess I am just selfish because I wouldnt do it. There are so many new ones out in the city now that I dont know half of them so thanks for the input from those of you that commented back!

So Mrs Cameron, if you dont mind me asking why did you quit? You have been there forever right like about 8 or 9 years? Just wondering.
