That goes for you too. You would probably be one of the first to come running if you needed a 'gun-toting southerner' to protect you. I doubt your ballet dancer hunk knows how to protect you unless he throws his pink shoes at someone.

You are an idiot. The 'gun-toting south mentality' is part of life since we do live in the south, you moron. Would you rather have a ballet dancer as a husband, son, etc.? That seems more your type. Many of us were raised to hunt for food and enjoy it. I guess you have the grocery store hunt for yours? Someone kills it whether you understand that or not.
A NINE "9" year old has "NO BUSINESS" alone with a weapon. I don't care what part of the country you are from, a NINE "9" year old is a kid.

Disagree. Many kids start hunting at the age of 6-7. However, an experienced parent or two is to ALWAYS accompany them. This is to educate them on gun safety. As an "Ex Marine," I'm surprised that you still don't comprehend this.

A totally preventable tragedy-
that whoever allowed this little fella to go off alone with a gun and no hunting partner will have to live with the rest of their life.

A totally unnecessary death.
and it makes me sick to my stomach to think about as a parent.

If you were actually a Marine, you would know that we don't have EX Marines. Stop posing as a Marine to make yourself look better. This is a sad situation and I am sure the Parents do not need to be reminded about the loss of their child

You need to keep your eye's on the road and quit reading all those silly azz bumper stickers. When I was released from active duty I became an EX. Odds are you are that topixFag that has ruined topix.

Big freaking deal he was nine. Most kids around here have been hunting since 6-7 years old. That is life in S. Ark. whether you like it or not.

Accidents happen to grown men too and not just hunting. A friend of ours fell out of a tree while hunting and died from a broken neck. Does that mean we need to cut all the trees down too? It was an ACCIDENT. Those happen to all of us sooner or later, maybe not kill us but still there are plenty of ACCIDENTS that will hurt you badly.

How about giving the parents a little sympathy instead of lecturing them (and the rest of us) at a time like this, Mr. Ex-Marine (never met one of those before - thought all Marines were Marines for life.

I've talked to several people and asked if they would let their kids and grand kids hunt alone at the age of 9 or 10. ' Absolutely not' was every answer.

Ex-Marine means dishonorable discharge. Marine is a marine for life day 1 through retirement or service term. Ex is given when something was taken away. Like when you refer to an ex-wife.

Secondly, kid was hunting squirl, not a bear or even a buck. Most likely a very low caliber weapon.....22 probably. Still, able to hurt someone but not big enough you would put to much concern. Those who have a problem with a 9 year old hunting have spent little to no time around guns and are basing their opinion on opinions not facts.

There you have it folks, the expert opinion of a homosexual who lives off foodstamps, welfare, free V D Clinic. Commonly known as the topixFag he is now an expert on what a Marine chooses to be known as after discharge AND the non-lethal capabilities of a 22 rifle. This comment dikBreath made while laying up in that Govt Apt eating Govt cheese futher shows the intelligence of an ignorantAzzFag. FkingIdiot. By the way Gooberlips, I am also an EX Marine, something your worthless Azz knows nothing about.
