It seems to me that over the years I've heard of a lot of young people from PC who die. Its like you hear a young person has died and they are almost always from PC. Anyone else feel this way?

Egg, I'd guess it's more to do with where you get your news, at least I'd hope there's not a higher mortality there. If you could give us some facts/data, we'd be able to make a more informed comment. Besides frequency, were there other similarities?

Lived here for 25 years. I feel the same. Living in a small town you hear about nearly every bad thing that happens and a lot of things that have went down do seem to involve PC kids pretty often. Its either a car wreck or a teen pregnancy year after year.

I went to PC a long time ago and we had our share of troubles that is for sure. One of the biggest scandals was when a popular older girl went on senior trip on a cruise and slept with several guys and got knocked up. It was the late nineties, ya know back when people still thought that behavior was wrong. There were several car wreck deaths as well. I think maybe its such a small area you just hear about everything. PC roads are pretty bad too.

No. It's no different from any other small place. However there is a teacher that lives in the pc area and has had her share of troubles family wise but teaches in jc. I for sure wouldn't want to be around her and her family. There has been death, divorces, retardation, and she sucks as a teacher. But I think pc is safe. She only lives there.

Something I've never saw on here about Parkers Chapel that's been going on for MANY years is the wife swapping. Kinda funny if you look around real close out there, you ask yourself, now why do they do that? It's like taking an old non running Ford pickup to the car lot and trading it in on an old non running Ford pickup.

I went to Parkers Chapel and the thing I loved about it was how ACCEPTING everyone was of each other. Not that there weren't cliques and problems like at any other school but gay or knocked up or sexually active or not we accepted everybody! The teachers are wonderful and the small community out there sticks together. Say what you want about people out there, especially our girls, but at least we accept them and don't treat them like trash just because their life decisions aren't something you approve of!

And its that acceptance that keeps you all so trashy ass! And makes the kids younger than you think its ok to get pregnant but still be cool and accepted. Not good. But now I understand why none of the girls I meet from PC are ever married when they have children.

Don't believe me? Name ten girls from PC under the age of 25. Randomly. Tell me at least half of them weren't pregnant before they were married.

Thats just about true. There are some really nice homes out there though you have to know where to find them. There are a few pretty nice neighborhoods and one that is really, really nice. But like it or not the PC community sticks together. Even when they are acting all trashy they stick together and support each other. I wouldn't mind living out there and I think it will only get bigger because of white flight and the PC school system.

I hate to say it but PC ranks high when compared to other schools in the state of the same size because of the teeny minority population. Everyone knows EHS's AP program is amazing but the other classes have problems. PC gives you the AP quality without the designated AP classes. But they do have a few AP courses. I think a lot of ppl would send their kids out there if it wasnt for the Promise at EHS. But those of you who hate PC don't worry, El Dorado will figure out a way to annex the school in the next 10-15 or so.

Will never happen. But if it does you may get the empty buildings. The students will all be at PCC! Parker's chapel Christian! And they might not get the buildings if things are planned right! They may not even be owned by school district at that time. Probably just leased
