Why don't they just flood Rock Island? It'll be a miniature version of what happened to New Orleans.

There's also a proposed Aquarium. Can you believe that? Most Aquariums I've been to (New Orleans, Galveston, Tampa, etc.) are near large bodies of water (oceans). We're nowhere near an ocean. They also propose conference rooms in the Aquarium, like they have in the new conference center. Why in the world would they need conference rooms? They didn't build that new conference center for nothing.
IT doesn't seem to matter what they come up with. It might be a hit for the first few months but like everything else around here....it too will wane down. It's the level of people's mentality around here. Not saying everyone is dumb, just saying the lack of caring attitude around here says it all. It's been that way since before I moved here and I'm sure it'll be that way long after I'm gone.
The aquarium here is on the mississippi river... Not near the ocean...

Seriously? I just found out about topix recently, and in looking at comments on all the threads, I see you. everywhere. You never have anything to say. All you do is call folks names and accuse them of being your arch nemesis "typical." and whatafag or whatafool or whatafagfool. and always LYAO. It's obvious that you change YOUR name often. I can't figure out your game, though.
I apologize if you're really like, mentally disabled or have the intelligence of a child, but seriously, what's the deal? anyone?

We are going to expand the lake at Mattoxs Park all the way to Murmil Heights. We will have a 24 hour ferry to transport vehicles and drug addicts across.

It would be a great addition to our town to have a recreational attraction close to town. I hope it would be nicer than other water areas around here so all of family could use it not just another scraggly fishing lake only. Fishing is good but need to be able to use it for other water sports. I hope if we do get something like this it wont become another hangout for those who like to do business in parks. We need more outdoor recreation around here that is open to public. Oh and volunteers are not what make all citizens care about their surroundings. We need to encourage businesses and real estate companies and citizens to keep up their propertieand not look so scraggly and unkept.

#1. SACC build it and thousands will come.
#2. EHS build it and thousand will come.
#3. ECC build it and thousand will come.
#4. Mystic Golf Club build it and thousand will come.
#5. Spend 25 million on you know what and thousand will come.
#6. Spend 25 million more down the street and thousand will come.
#7. New lake build it and they will come by the thousands.

Where will all these people live because el dorado is just not going to be able to keep up with this growth rate. Millions and millions in new taxes for the city. Maybe they could fix some of the streets with all this new found wealth. Maybe at the next meeting they will vote to place a landing pad on top of the ECC so our little green friends can enjoy
all El dorado has to offer.

Rather than attempting to attract Annunaki from the Tenth Planet type undocumented visitors to planet Earth ( with the attendant abductions, medical examinations, semen extractions and implants along with the inevitable cattle mutilations [ anyway, they seem to prefer Las Vegas casinos wearing sunglasses ], the council could get El Do its fifteen minutes of fame by declaring us a sanctuary city for terrestrial aliens.

Well if the Alien landing pad will not fly how about two or three of the city council members seeing a large ape like creature some where around El Dorado. Big Foot could become a huge draw as long as the council members see it when there out and about. I see a lot of the tax money in El Dorado leaving the bank and not much return on the investment.

#8 SEE BIG FOOT AND THEY WILL COME BY THE THOUSANDS.
