I would never force my child to play if she didn't want to.

But you'd force her to play somewhere else because you don't like Ken Blackmon?

She has to play where the league plays regardless of what her mother thinks of it.

So the league can be complete douches that throw hissy fits when they don't get their way and it will not have a negative effect on the children. Got you.

You have no idea what effects the League decision has on the children. Withhold your own child if you must and have your arguments thrown back in your face, but leave the others to make up their own minds.

I do have an idea of the negative effects a prissy attitude mother can have on a child's future. Even if your child wants to play, the poor way you have handled the situation will negatively impact her future. Eventually she move to California with her girlfriend and see you once, every other Christmas...maybe. congrats on embarrassing your child for the rest of her life.

I'm sorry your life experiences haven't been all that great, but there is no reason to project them upon others.

If these people had any idea of what all went on, they would agree with the decision not to play at the complex.

Please explain how the league through a hissy fit? They just voted to boycott the complex until playing conditions changed. Doesn't matter to me if we ever go back. The adults can have it as far as I'm concerned. PC, JC, and Norphlet have much better fields anyway.

Me too. Either cater to us and do exactly as we want or we will take our ball and go home.

Sounds like any customer of any business. So what's the problem?

No, it sounds like a hissy fit from a select few not getting their way, so they have to ruin it for everybody else. The tears of all of those children, including your daughter, are on your hands.

Agreed! Kudos to the Complex Board for finally putting their foot down and saying "Enough is Enough!"

Ken Blackmon is a good man that has been involved with youth sports as a coach for years.
