Should not spend $18 million dollars on a facility(conference center) that has plenty of blighted depreciated structures nearby. Please remove more of these eyesores in the area. Inadequate parking for the conference center is a very negative ingredient in trying to get larger meetings to use the facility.

As far as the restaurant is concerned they can rent the vacant Shoneys building on the South end of the Mall parking lot and have lots of parking. Sounds like a win win.

I've been told IHOP has the Shoney's bldg. I'd much rather see the CC bldg go than the Town House Restaurant, Oddities and other prexisting institutions.

There's plenty of parking to adequately meet the needs of the conference center. I believe the college will be expanding with a new building. 4-year institution, here we come!

The building was condemned. Even if he wouldn't have sol the building to the school, they were going to shut down anyway. Mr. Patel was given a year to update the building. I hate to see TownHouse have to go or movve but that motel was disgusting.

The Restaurant is being dozed also. They will relocate. If I were them I would go outside the City Limits. They're good enough that people will drive. H-ll, we drive to Monroe to eat at Red Lobster.

I wonder why they didn't do the same thing to the Mall. These Indian guys don't want to keep up their properties.

I agree that motel was just a place for prostitutes to spread disease and cheap rooms to sell drugs out of. The flamingo and El Dorado Inn need to go next. Town House can serve great food in any bulding. Sometimes change is good!

Seems like it would be a good idea to have a decent restaurant within walking distance of the Conference Center.

Johnny B's is next. I'm going to go in, eat first, then hand them their closure notice. And after that, "LOOK OUT BROOKSHIRES". I'm the Mayor and the Mayor of El Dorado can do anything he wants. If you don't believe me, ask Mike Dumas.

They make their nut on the week day lunch crowd. Haven't been open at night or weekends in years. Working types don't have time to drive into the country and back for lunch.
