Their subscription rates went up nearly 70%. Last year it was $135 now it is up to $228 a year. The only page that has more ink is the correction section.

Funny you haggle at the NT's corrections but say nothing when Channel 10 miss spells Noalmark Broadcasting today on air.

The News Times needs to take ownership of their mistakes. I doubt El Dorado Chemical requested a Great Lakes headline. Middle of the paper in small print: "the News Times incorrectly printed the headline due to inaccurate information received from the source." Instead, it should say: "We fucked up. We are sorry, and we will make sure to be more cautious in the future."

I seriously doubt that most of the News-Times readers watch channel 10 nor do they know who or what a Noalmark is or how to spell it. Interesting thought though. They do know the difference between ElDorado Chemical and Great Lakes.

New Times is a Joke liberal rag plagued with untruths, and mistakes and lasts weeks news .
it'll be out of business within 7 years
its sad really.
if they would just cater to the people who live here instead of trying so hard to do the opposite it might have a chance.
News is just that NEWS, not something that went on last week or something that no one cares about. Reporters need to get out and work up stories, not wait for something to break and then tell the people after the fact with a bias liberal slant to it

They are too busy writing stories about their personal lives to get out and actually report on anything.

I was buying maybe an average of four times a week. The 50% increase in price seemed offensive, though their machines may not be able to be recalibrated for nickels. When they went like eight days without a police report, during some interesting crime, I was really disappointed. R. Bubba is keeping an eye out for when they finally report the lunch meat car vandalism near the Racquet Club which was broadcast on KELD last week.

We are proud to report that we will now have a 3 page newspaper. One page of news and two for corrections. And have you heard? Cassius Clay changed his name to Muhammad Alley. Correction, that's Ali.

Whatever happened to the fat douche that used to write about his XBox being his best purchase and never washing his sheets. Oh yeah, and filling up his apartment with balloons. Never understood that one but so goes the news of El Dorado.

I choose not to live in poverty. That's why they earn the "talent" that is currently there. Could also explain the high turnover. I guess he's left too? Proves my point.
