To the lady riding the bike one mile north of the G.P. mill on Highway 167 going south at 12:10 on 4/17/2014, IF you are going to ride your bike left of the white line appox. 2 feet, you will get your d$$b-A$$ run over sooner or later. If the SUV in the left lane had not move over into the turn lane so I could move into the left lane also, you would have died at 12:10 on the 4/17/2014. I will not risk killing myself, my wife and our two small kids because you like to ride left of the white line. Cars do not own the road and neither do bikes. A car and a bike wreck guess who gets to ride to the morgue. Well I guess when you do get run over and killed your friends will say what a bad driver the person was that sent you to the morgue and not even consider that the person riding the bike was just s much to blame as the driver.

Vehicles must yield to bikes.

Riding a bike in the driving lane of a busy state highway regardless of who must yield to who is a good way to get killed. There is a wide shoulder on that highway and no reason for a bicyclist to not use it. Why would anyone in their right mind ride a bike like that knowing they can go splat against an eighteen wheeler going 65 mph or any other vehicle for that matter. Usually it's some hardheaded asshat that insists on knowingly riding their bikes in that manner. Almost the same thing as Margaret Meyers, Robin Trimble, and Pat Callaway used to do.
