I've been hearing for a while how messed up Timberlane McDonald's is but always thought it was exaggerated. We never, ever went there b/c we lived on the other side of town. Three weeks ago we moved b/w pc and Magnolia highway. The first week we were unpacking so we ate out a lot. Three times that McDonald's screwed up our orders in inexplicably bizarre ways. And twice we had to pull up and sit for ten minutes until my husband got out and went in, only to see that our orders had been ready and were just sitting there. I can't believe what a failure the manager is. Only in a town like this could such a piss poor establishment survive.

In college my husband and I lived really unhealthy lifestyles. We lived in Fayetteville just a block away from a McDonald's and went there at least once every couple of days. Never, not once were we ever asked to pull up and sit and I never saw anyone else do that either. We would get orders for us and all our friends and I can't remember them ever having to get it corrected. When we moved back here I noticed that incorrect orders were a regular thing but I've never experienced such ineptitude until we went to Timberlane McD's. My friend who lives in Pine Bluff says it's the same way there, and I know what she's suggesting but I'm with that other poster, I don't think it has anything to do with race and I saw plenty of white people working there. It is the manager's fault in every way. Lots of other places in town do a great job so there is absolutely no excuse under the sun for that place to be so terribly dysfunctional.

I can't name a place in town that isn't just as bad as Timberlane's McDonalds. Well, except Arby's, Wendy's and Dominos. Those three places are the only decent fast food places in town. Other than that expect your order to be messed up or missing something and the employees to not wear gloves. Same for the sit down restaurants. There are about four decent ones. Mel's, Flying Burger, Oriental Gardens and House of Wylie. Everywhere else is pretty terrible with their service and their food and let's be honest, those other places I listed (except HoW) wouldn't do well if they had any real competition. Everything here is pretty half-ass. And that new Chinese place is terrible. It's nice that they have barely edible sushi and all, but I had a dead bug in my rice once and hair another time. I'm starting to realize that just about everything in this town sucks. If we'd known how it really was we never would have moved here from Tennessee, no matter how much $ we were offered.

But, if they get $15 an hour, there's no reason for them to look for a better job. That's good money.
It will ruin the economy. It would be better to give the 5% that are having problems living off the minimum wage, tax breaks or assistance instead of raising it for everyone. If the minimum wage is raised, it should be at the State level, not the Federal level so it can be determined which States really need the wage increase.

At this point, it's no more than another TAX on the American people.

Minimum wage will never be that high. Not going to happen. If it did, places like McDonald's would barely make a profit. And since corporate interests own our political system now, it's literally impossible.

Timberlane McDonald's really is the worst place in town. Sure, there are some friendly cashiers and I like them but the people in the kitchen are incredibly f*cktarded. I ask for no tomato any place in town, and that McDonald's is the only place where they get it wrong every time. I still go, but I know that no matter how much I emphasize no tomato, I'm going to have to pick it off my sandwich. It's not that difficult, really. So I have no clue why they have such a hard time getting things right. Like I said... f*cktarded.

Not going to happen? This President will go around the House and the Senate to sign an executive order to push through anything he wants. Nearly every amendment in the Bill of Rights has been encroached. The constitution means nothing. Never say never when it comes to Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

McDonalds will just raise that hamburger price to $8.

Taxes are as low as they've been since 1913. Your post is inaccurate and a flat out fabrication. Minimum wage must be raised to keep up with inflation.

Inflation is low, interest rates are the lowest in years along with the prices in the housing market, which never happens. There is no reason in the world that the minimum wage should be $15/ /hr. It will ruin jobs and negatively effect the economy.

I sadly have found it is best to eat at home in this town and save eating out till you are somewhere else. Sonic in Magnolia is good, shopping in Magnolia or Camden much better experience too, stores (all main ones) are cleaner and better stocked, staff is nicer also. I went into the dollar tree here today in the morning and it was horrific. It was so filthy, stepped on trash right in doorway coming in, floors unmopped, buggys all had rubber falling or off tires and the fixtures(ice cream box, handles on coolers) were too nasty to touch. A lot of stores here are nasty, and with extras coming here to work somebody needs to get a handle on them. Outsiders do not care about this town and will have no problem telling others about this.

The latest from the Timberlane McDonald's:

El Dorado, AR Buyer Beware!!!!!! Please Share This!!

Got off of work early and stopped by McDonalds at 501 S Timberlane Drive to get my wife and I some breakfast. After ordering, got home, got comfortable, and let the dogs out before unloading our food. Low and behold, her McGriddle was missing. So, back up to McDonalds we went.
Upon getting there, I told the Cashier what happened, and asked her to remake the food as it was cold. They took the bag, went to the back, huddled around the food, and gave me "the eyeball". I had a feeling they were not going to remake the food, but rebag it, so I told my wife to keep an eye on them. However, what I saw next is absolutely intolerable!

One of the line cooks, walked back to her line with the 4 Sausage Burrito's from the order. I stared at her saying to myself, "Surely not". She then dropped one of the burrito's onto the floor and I figured, well, if she was, she's not now. But no. She promptly picked it up from the nasty, grease and grime covered floor and put it into the staging bin for another unlucky customer!!

Upon calling her out on it, she denied doing it. I told her I had just watched her do it, and still, she denied it, I turned my attention to the manager, who actually had her back, and my wife Elena, watched her quickly remove them from the bin and throw them in the trashcan. When I looked back and told her I knew what I had seen, she picked up the trash can and showed me the burritos saying "No Sir, I threw them away". Elena then told me that she had just removed them from the bin. Either way, that entire staging bin had been contaminated!

I lost my cool, as she was calling me a liar, and told her that that was nasty as hell and she knew it. Which, the manager decided that if I was going to cuss, they weren't going to serve me...which was odd because I had already requested the refund. Needless to say, I let them know exactly how I felt. Wasn't my best moment, but thinking of some child ingesting that struck a nerve with me!

Do NOT use this McDonalds! This is how people get sick! I will be calling the store manager later today as well as placing a formal complaint with Corporate over this. They acted like it should be okay because they were going to remake MY food. But I'm sorry, I'm more worried about the person that was fixing to eat food that I had taken home for over 45 minutes and returned only to have fall to the floor after. Who knows what I did to that food in the 45 minutes it was out of the store! They sure don't! For your own safety, stick with the location on Northwest Avenue! We traveled there after to make sure Elena got her McGriddle, and had a wonderful experience!

Picture For Attention! It fits though...I'm not Lovin' it Today!
