This is still the single worst restaurant of any kind in all of El Dorado. I think this one sentence can sum it up:
Can you pull up?
I get asked this every time I go there and my order is for more than two people. Can you pull up? So you can sit out there for 10 minutes before our dumb, lazy asses can bring it out to you? Then once we have, you'll have to come inside to get something corrected. Sound good?
Every. Fucking. Time.

Take the hint - they don't want your business. I quit going there a long time ago.

It's McDonalds for God's sake. What do you expect good food?

Exactly. I don't do McDonalds. I don't like horse meat. It's not a Ruth's Chris steak for sure!

It's not about the food, it's about the lack of service.

While it's certainly not great food, it's not _that_ bad (when prepared to specs). To each their own. ;)

I go there a lot. It is no worse than any other fast food place. The girls that work there are very good with their customer service. I enjoy going there due to the friendly people. Keep up the good work!

Like anyone else in America, I expect to get my order quickly and correctly when going through a fast food drive thru. My family and I have never had a problem with any other restaurant in town, just the Timberlane McDonald's. We live on Magnolia highway so we like going to Timberlane for food because its quicker than going to town...usually. We stopped going to that McDonald's years ago. But this evening we were desperate for something we thought would be quick, and I assumed things might have gotten better by now. I was wrong. We ordered two burgers without tomato and fries. A very simple order. After getting the burgers both with tomato and a single fry, I had to go inside to get it corrected and was met with attitude and a reluctance to fix the order. Which is surprising, considering those morons must have to correct half the orders they make everyday. Whoever manages that place is a failure. Though it really doesn't surprise me that people still go there. Unfortunately, living in El Dorado means you get what you're given even if what you're given is shit. If this town wasn't such a f*cked up ghetto that place would have run out of business by now.

Have you ever complained to the manager?

We complained to the manager once. It doesn't do any good. It won't change anything. I can't imagine how many people have complained about poor service and their inability to get an order correct. We just quit going there. The only reason they stay in business is because this is such a poor town. It has nothing to do with the people here settling for less, though I guess that could be part of it. The real reason a place that does such a terrible job can stay in business here is because McDonald's markets primarily to low income earners. Places like Arby's tend to get more of a middle class crowd because they're more expensive. No matter how poor the service is, people in this town and others like it will always go there. Also, there isn't any competition. The other McDonald's is exactly the same. If you want good service you just have to go somewhere else. We really like Arby's and Wendy's. The Taco Bell does a pretty good job too. Last week I ordered over 20 items for a get together and all the orders were correct. Those guys at TBell are FAST too. You will never, ever be asked to pull up there. The only other place in town I've ever been asked to pull up and wait for my order is at Wendy's, but that's only if we get breaded chicken and they make it piping hot. Before we stopped going to McDonald's we were asked to pull up almost every single time we went there, and sometimes there was someone else already waiting on their order too. They're slow and stupid. Luckily most other places here are.... normal. I really miss Dairy Queen though :(

It's a shame folks have to put up with that kind of treatment. It's a double edged sword. The workers are paid minimum wage and are disgruntled, however if the minimum wage is raised to what they are talking about, the price of the food is going to go up considerably. McDonald's employees have been picketing for a $15/hr minimum. That will give them absolutely NO incentive to strive for a better job and climb the ladder out of the fast food server business. :(

But, if they get $15 an hour, there's no reason for them to look for a better job. That's good money.

I'm going to quote Paul Ryan (R-WI), because I agree with him 100%:

"The majority of these workers are younger people just getting into the workforce,” Ryan said.“What we don’t want to do is support ideas, especially in this kind of economy, which will reduce the availability of jobs, number one, but more importantly reduce the availability of jobs from the very people we want to get into jobs so they can start climbing that ladder of life, so they can get in and start working their way up and get the skills they need to earn a better job.” He added that his time working at McDonald’s as a young man helped “give me better training to keep moving on in life.”

I worked for minimum wage and sometimes interned for FREE, while I attended college. It builds character and is a vital component of Capitalism. This is what makes us different than any other country in the world. Just my opinion. I don't like Socialism.

There is no reason to pay unskilled fast food workers the same as vocational trained, skilled workers. The idea is ridiculous. And just shows how entitled people are now.

Exactly! Thank you!

Oh, it all sounds great on the surface, but the layers need to be peeled away to realize that people are being sold a bill of goods.

Another problem is the word "free". Free healthcare, free cell phones, free this and that. Nothing is FREE. We do need to help those truly in need, being our brothers keeper, but not these folks that won't pick themselves up and contribute their fair share.

Instead of free it should all say "paid for by the taxpayer". Im democrat but don't like where they stand on this. I work my ass off everyday here in town to make that kind of money. Id be irrate if those fuckers got paid as much as me and didnt have to get any training for it and STILL gave the kind of service they do and you know they would!

Or have other relatives living in the US illegally. I have never seen such a lack of accountability.

The tipping point for an entitlement society is fast approaching. It's now at around 47%. Once it reaches 51%, there's little hope of turning back.

I don't like any of these elected officials except Trey Gowdy, the Congressman from SC. He's the only politician I follow on Twitter. He's fearless. The rest are cronies that have made a career out of politics. I can't understand why they don't have term limits allowing new, fresh ideas can be embraced.
