I've been in a couple of times, and had a cake she prepared, and was disappointed! The cake was really dry, and the icing had the nastiest taste ever! The lady that runs it is really really sweet though and a nurse at the hospital, I really think she needs to stick to that! HOWEVER this is just MY opinion! If you'd like to go by that's totally up to you! I hear she has good cinnamon rolls, but never had a chance to try one!

I adore her cakes, they are all home made and never have I had a dry one. The icing is divine. If you haven't tried her homemade Italian cream cake then you are missing out! Give it a try, she has fresh baked goods in the case which I buy for my co-workers on an occasional basis and from what I hear she gives out a cake of the day.

I had cookies made for a baby shower and they were AWESOME! Not dry and the icing was perfect. Good price too.

My husband ordered a cake from her for my birthday. Bless his heart for even trying! He asked for NO pink and flowers and told her this was for a 30+ year old woman. When he went to pick it up at the time she said, she was still decorating it when he got there (in a baby pink icing and even lighter pink tiny crappy flowers!) and the cake was still hot (little hard to ice and decorate a hot cake). She quickly finished, which looked like crap and she didn't have a box to put it in! She told him to drive down to Brookshires and ask them for a box. When he got back the cake was leaning and the top layer was sinking into the bottom layer! He said something about it and she said "oh I had so much fun decorating this cake...that will be $55!" Like I said bless his heart for even trying. The cake was good but not $55 good! FYI we've now learned Bobbie McDaniel makes the BEST cakes!!

Hello all. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you have any complaints we would be happy to address them in person. We stand behind our products and have never sent anyone to anywhere for a box. We try to follow the directions given by the customer, but if you don't tell us you are not happy with the product we can't resolve the issue. So please, if you received something with which you were not happy, call me. 870-863-4315

I have had some of her baked goods and they really aren't the best at all. I have never had one of her cakes but I have seen them and I would rather go to Wal-Mart. I have also had Bobbie's cakes and some of them are good but the last one I had for my daughter's birthday was a waste of money and none of the kids would eat it because it was so nasty!!

I ordered cookies for my son's 4th birthday so he could take them to school. They were the cutest thing I have ever seen! Each child got their own "train set" cookies. There were three to a set, all iced in different colors. The kids went nuts over them! And I must say they tasted wonderful!! I haven't had anything else from there but I will be going back. Plus, you have to remember that they are a new business and as with any new venture, there will be mistakes. I typically use the 3 strike rule with new businesses...so far, they've got a homerun in my book!

I was very impressed with my wedding cake and grooms cake!!! They were delicious and the price was great!! My daughter insists we visit periodically for the sugar cookies and I love the chocolate cupcakes!!! A couple weeks ago we went to a birthday party and the cupcakes were from the Sweet Shoppe. They were the cutest ever with lady bugs and butterflies. I will most certainly be back.

I will never go anywhere else for my cakes, pies, or cookies. I am so glad she opened her bakery here. The Sweet Shoppe Bakery has always produced excellant cakes, pies, and cookies. They all were beautifully decorated and presented. Some are so unique, like the hamburger and cheetos cake. She has an album of her cakes in her bakery. You should go look at them. They have mouth watering cheesecakes as well. Kim, the owner, has made all my childrens and grandchildrens birthday cakes, shower cakes, wedding and grooms cakes. I also have had her cookies. They are so wonderful. If you have any complaints just tell her. She will take care of them. This is a new business and she and her family were all born and raised here in El Dorado, AR. Remember this is Local Business Owners Appreciation week. Quit mouthing and help her out. This is not New York City. If it was you would appreciate her pricing. At least she is keeping it local and spending local. Walmart is not local. Support our business here when possible. By the way, Walmart cakes are all frozen and from mixes, Kim's are all homemade and fresh. The money is spent here to support out city.
I am sure she would like you support.

The cake ladi did one of my wedding shower cakes it tasted amazing but it looked AWFUL!! The colors were completely off and my wedding was in the spring and it looked like a Christmas cake gone bad! Other than it being ugly, it tasted great.
