Do they prepare the food differently for those who have jobs, money, and whatnot? Is there a special line, a separate entrance, a more exclusive menu, reserved seating perhaps?

Have any of you been to a grocery store lately?? Prices are out of sight ,, then you have to pay wages, taxes, utilities, rent,,repairs and make a living for yourself!! I bet after all of the overhead not 1 restaurant in town is making very much money... And if people come in and take up table space for an hour that's a table not making a dime,, so the next time you are dining out take that into consideration when leaving your tip!! That server just missed out on someone else leaving them a tip for the night

I love flying burger. Yes, they are higher than McDonald but the food is much better too. If you don't like their food here's a lil tip for ya, DON'T GO THERE!!! Like magic problem solved! As for too much salt and will kill someone with high blood pressure, I have high BP and I'm not dead. Go down the road and pay more than double the price a Mel's for food that is no where near as good. The only problem they should fix is use something besides peanut oil and change the oil more often.

wtf are you talking about a $10 burger jesus christ did you get bacon, egg, and a tub of lard added? It is 6.35 for a double burger with cheese. It's your fault for being a idiot and eating there paying 2 dollars for a drink

But if you fix the problem, all these motherf@#$*!g idiots here on Topix won't have anything to complain about. What will they do if they can't whine anymore? You can't take that from these pitiful losers.

We love Flying Burger and Mel's. The prices aren't that different either. Some things at FB are higher than at Mel's actually. Some are also less. Just depends. The two restaurants also have a very different menu. FB's menu is kind of limited but everything on it is fantastic. I've never had anything I didn't like except for the notoriously bad fries. Mel's has more of a variety and everything there is also good. They also do specials regularly. Soups, fettucini, etc. Both places are awesome. Bayou Bistro didn't hold a candle to either.

Flying burger cuts one piece of fish in half and calls it two pieces, so,
They are more expensive than Mel's...not complaining bc I do like their
Food and restaurant. And I agree, the bayou bistro sucked and their
Service sucked worse than their food, thus were destined to fail bc of
Poor management.

The shrimp at Mel's is way superior to Flying Burger, but their baked potatoes are never cooked done. The fried shrimp at Bayou was awesome. Ate at FB twice since they opened. Not impressed.

FB's food is ALL frozen. They boil their crab legs in salt water with NO seasoning. At Mel's everything is homemade. They have a dam good burger too. There is absolutely no comparison between the two. FB is frozen food priced high & Mel's is homemade & priced high. Four brothers is all frozen & they buy most of their food from Walmart. They are priced low. You pay for what you get. No one can beat Mel's though. Food is delicious & service is the best in town.
