Fast walking guy has aquired a bike, however he still walks very fast while pushing the bike. Drive by inspection of the bike tells me it is in full working order. Why push the bike instead of ride it?

I wonder if he sold the tires. Last I saw it was all treaded up. I did a double take to make sure.

Even with the addition of the bike, he still maintains a fast pace.

I was a little worried about him at first, since I just moved to town and he's intimidating. Talked to someone who knows him though and was told he's an okay guy, a little off, but doesn't hurt anyone. He just walks to his family around town.

Hey, maybe we should all follow his lead...stop supporting that "gas cartel."

What about pushing a bike is fighting the cartel?

I saw him today pushing the bike. It had no tires at all. He has walked a long time to finally get a bike, but with no tires. I feel like buying him some tires. Kinda feel bad for him. Wonder how fast he would ride if he actually had a functional bike.

The fact that if he is pushing a bike and not driving a motor vehicle, he does not have to buy gasoline. Ergo, not supporting our local gas cartel.

My point was, what about pushing a bike supports any kind of gas cartel? His other option is walking. A motor vehicle waqs never talked about. I believe you may be supporting this cartel you speak of by depositing more of your share of methane gas into the atmosphere.
