I know PLENTY of Christians that are the real-deal. And they aren't perfect at all. They make mistakes just like anyone else, only they admit those mistakes, learn from them, repent for them, and trust in the Lord to guide them into better people every day. Because we all "fall short of the glory of God". That is one of the reasons God is so amazing. He forgives.

But some "Christians" claim to be saved, or believe in Christ, and even attend church... but then you see them out drunk as skunks and sleeping around with everyone. Doing drugs, ignoring their kids needs, refusing to get jobs out of laziness. Moving from man to man or woman to woman and unable to make a relationship last. Or they make relationships last that are tumultuous and unhealthy.

I don't pretend to know the souls of these people. But I find it offensive and hypocritical when anyone claims things like "I'm a good person", "I would never do that", "I'm kind to everyone one", "I do good things", "but its not my fault.... its their fault" when they are living a life of selfishness and complete self-involvement.

People like that are the reason the mainstream in society is so anti-Christian. We have to start living what we CLAIM to be.

I'm referring to many people all across our town and our country, but a good example is someone like A.E. from Norphlet. If you know who I'm talking about then good because she is the perfect example, but I DO NOT want this to be a post about bashing her. I am just giving an example of one in thousands.

Its time we start getting real. And sadly, part of that is saying NO to people who live a life of sin. We are supposed to hep the sick, the needy, the poor. Not people who live in poverty because they refuse to work, have child after child that they can't take care of, and treat people around them like crap. Those people don't need church charity. They need a state correctional facility and a dose of reality. We can love them and be kind to them, but we need to stay away from them, and stop pretending that we can "fix" them.

You are the reason people are anti Christian!! If you have a problem with AE from norphlet, do the biblical thing and go to that person unless you are just claiming to be a Christian and just needed to feel good and include God in your post to try to fool everyone into believing that this was not to bash AE! Now get on back to crosslife and repent!

I couldn't agree more. And im no idiot either. I get exactly whar your saying and I don't think for a second you made a post about such a subject directing it towards one person. You just used her as an example, and a good one too. As Christians, we have to say no to people who WILL NOT CHANGE. Everyone needs help sometimes, but why give it to people who will USE IT TO HURT THEMSELVES

Kind of like the car dealer we used to have here that would give you a small bible after selling you a car? I always heard that he got a few chunked back to him and told he needed it worse after the screwing he gave them on the deal or service after the sell.

All The Same is a special needs person that wears a tinfoil hat and thinks only one person ever posts on here. He never seems to get the idea that more than one person visits this site. Also he gives himself away no matter which alias he uses by accusing someone of being a welfare homofag.
