BEEBE, Ark. Wildlife officials are trying to determine what caused more than 1,000 blackbirds to die and fall from the sky over an Arkansas town.

What if you must leave your home? Can you use LP gas in your car or truck?
I own a few LP gas farm tractors. I have one Pk that is dual fuel it uses both gasoline or LP. I have a generator with dual fuel capabilities also. LP doesnt smoke it can be used for heat, cooking And our motor home also has a LP gas refrigerator. a pack animal could carry a 100 pound bottle very easily. we could very easily attach a stock trailer loaded with supplies & pack animals to a LP farm tractor and go to a remote location thateven a four wheel drive Pk couldnt access. then the pack animals could go even furthur if necessairy. We have a big 500 gallon tank at our house to suupplement the wood heat and fill the farm tractors. We have the electric transfer pump and can fill the tractors and 100 LB bottles to capicity.

No liberal commie agenda at all! It's just a common sense solution to a problem.
In the Texas Hill Country, there are two endangered birds; the Black-capped Vireo and the Golden-cheeked Warbler. They are a huge attraction to bird watchers all over the world. Just the fact that people go there specifically to see those two species brings in tons of cash to that region of Texas each year.
It creates jobs too. Campgrounds are full, motels, bed and breakfasts, grocery stores, gift shops and restaurants see more business. Auto and RV mechanics are needed. Ranchers make money by charging fees to see wildlife on their property. check this out:
http://www.king-ranch.com/nature_tours.html
More state park people and naturalists are hired, etc. We have even needed to visit health clinics and veterinarians while on the road. Most are private sector jobs with the locals making the profits.
Tourism, including bird and wildlife watching tourism, creates jobs and brings in revenue!

Protection of the Lesser Prairie Chicken should have no impact on timber. It does not live in the forest. Timbering will continue.

A win-win for the humans and the birds.
Like prepetual motion or Making something out of nothing there isnt no such thing as a win win situation. Those things you tout dont produce & make anything. When someone recieves money or something else without producing or making something. Someone else who is a producing maker must be robbed of part of the fruits of their labor to pay for it.or in the case of borrowed goverment money so future producer will be robbed. That is indeed a liberal comme, socialist agenda.

Granted, I've not been overseas. But birding is more to me than just "seeing" a bird from a distance, not knowing what it is, and saying "I saw it."

I'm referring to those things in the non-human category that don't deserve to die simply because God gave them specific habitat requirements.

Those are great things to have in a survival situation. I would like a 500 gallon tank for gas also. I have water stored and some gas but that 500 gallons is interesting. Was it you who said you had a llama?

Not everybody can make a product. Some people provide SERVICES that are in demand. If your neighbor makes a bundle of dough by letting people take hay rides through his land to see a bird, good for him. If his wife bakes pies and makes prairie Chicken T-shirts to sell to the birding tourists, good for her. That protected bird is good for them. If your daughter is waiting tables at the restaurant and those birders come in for dinner, she makes more than if they weren't there. The protected bird is good for her too. Your neighbors and your daughter now have more money to spend in your town. The protected bird is good for the whole area.

Only blood kin allowed and some of them are not welcome. No yankees allowed. I had the 500 gallonLp tank filled to 80% capacity this summer cost me $1.60 per gallon tax included.

Yep those folks in Greece thought they could live forever without producing from the tourist income. In the USa We now have half the folks believing thay dont have to produce. They think someone else will produce for them. Now the few remaining producers are asking then selves Why? Why produce when large part of my productivity is robbed (taxed) away. Then its given to the non productive parasite takers. then The amount I am allowed to keep has to compete in the market place against the same money thay was robbed from me?
