We went a few nights ago after not going for months. We talked to the owner who's been in partners with this company since they opened. Apparently sales were so bad he moved his family here from Dallas to save the business and run it himself. I think he's doing a great job! |

how bout you go give it another chance? While you are there, ask about the item you want. Please don't refuse to patronze a local business over something trivial. |

I haven't gone in years because it was so horrible. Now I can finally try it again. |

I too ate lunch there recently after forgetting they were still in business. I was impressed by how much better the food was. It did seem to take a bit more time than other restaurants, but it was fresh made food and worth it. The staff was very attentive.

Ordered a steak there last night. Thought it looked bigger than what I ordered. Moved it around and found two rats under it. The steak was to tough to eat, but the rats were tender. Ran into my Mother in law when we were leaving, I suggested she try the steak I had.

Of course the group was my imaginary Homo friends. U C imafag, so nobody will associate with me because I stank and I'm an ignorantAzz. These comments are all mine because like I said I'm an ignorantAzz. I actually haven't eat at Bayou because they won't let me in there, something about terrible body odor. Now, I'll change my name and make another comment. I'm also a fkingIdiot. |

The new management can't be all that smart. They were closed New Year's Eve night. One of the busiest nights of a year for a restaurant.
That sort of management decision doesn't engender a lot of trust in the new management. |

We ate lunch there the other day, had cajun nachos and shrimp with grits. Very good and the help was very good as well.

The choice to allow your employees a holiday night off has nothing to do with his ability to make solid management decisions. They were open Christmas eve, and I know more people that eat out that night then NYE. Most people who aren't attending parties on NYE usually stay home. The food and service is remarkably better than it was a year ago. |

Douche bags will always find something to be unhappy about. Mother's Day and valentines are the biggest dinning days of the year not NYE. Sounds like master blaster is a know it all prick. I go places for good food and service not their holiday hours.

What part of "one of the busiest nights" don't you idiots understand? To close on a night that is likely to be in the top 10 is a bad business move. There was a crowd at Mel's where I ended up.
