In less than 15 minutes, Barney has used his little cartoon pictures on my posts.
Further proof he is an idiot.

Speaking of voting, are you one of the 70% that support O? Do you pay attention to what is going on? Do you care?
Well Germany was taken over by the Nazi's because people just did not care and set back.

Ran across this post today on another site and thought it was worth sharing because it's so true. If you have already seen it then just bypass it.

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.
Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! That pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised NOT to judge ALL muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Funny how that works.
And here's another one worth considering...
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?
What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
Think about it.....and last but not least:

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens and countries that clearly hate us?

Am I the only one missing something?

No, you aren't the only one. It does sum up The thinking of America today.

I'm sure Barney will show up soon to explain how it's all George w. Bush and Ronald Reagan's fault, though...and mine!:)

As predicted...I am the one Barney blames for all of his wrongs and blunders.
It's probably best you have moved on to new things, Barney. Since you failed miserably in the political realm and haven't offered a political truth in years, I am sure the easier to understand, broad scope of the medical field will be just the thing that you can grasp with clarity of mind, and in turn bestow your wisdom to readers every where!
Why, you may even start your very own 'Dr. Barney' forum.

Well, the Democrats won another race. Thad Cochran held on to his seat in Mississippi last night, defeating Chris McDaniel in a special election runoff. Funny thing is he did it by courting Democrats in the last days before the election. It has been reported that the black turnout for this race was up by 40% from the original primary election. Why and how could that be? 95% of the black voters vote Democrat so there shouldn't be enough black voters to raise the vote total by 40%. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats and establishment Republicans needed a candidate that would continue to support the liberal agenda, and they got one. Thing is, that it's perfectly legal in Mississippi to vote in a runoff even if you didn't vote in the primary so, while I don't have a leg to stand on where legality is concerned, I still know that Chris McDaniel would have wiped the floor with Cochran had those that voted in the primary been the only ones to vote in the runoff. Oh well, we can chalk another one up for those that want to kill this great nation.

The irony- No I'm blaming You for all your TOPIX's wrongs and blunders, nothing else, what so ever.

Coming from one not smart enough to know just how ignorant they are, your self righteous indignation is too be expected.

Tell me something , why do you think all those black voters turned out to support the Republican incumbent?

The media said Cochran had a much better chance at wining the general election than his Tea Party opponent.

Would it not stand to reason the Dem's would have wanted the less likely Republican opponent to win the general election, to run against a member of their own party?

That puts a bit of kink in your theory does it not?

If you want the answer, I will give you a clue, Thad Cochran is know as the King of Pork, follow the money.

AP 2013 - G. Gordon Liddy hosted former Republican presidential candidate Gary Bauer to discuss his Human Events column on the Fort Hood massacre, in which Bauer — echoing his close personal friend Bill Kristol — declared that “[p]olitical correctness has been radical Islam’s greatest asset in its war against America. Let’s execute it.”“Accommodation of Islam pervades our schools,” added Bauer in his column.
In the beginning of their discussion, Liddy said that political correctness towards Islam “precedes the Obama administration” because President Bush proclaimed that “Islam is a religion of peace.”“You know that’s just not true,” said Liddy. Later in the conversation, after Bauer complained that Obama’s Homeland Security adviser John Brennan would lead the investigation into what the U.S. intelligence community knew about Nidal Malik Hasan before his attack, Liddy announced his belief that President Obama “is a Muslim”:
LIDDY: I’m convinced that despite his protestations to the contrary, that Barack Obama is a Muslim. I don’t believe that he’s a Christian at all. I believe he’s a Muslim.
BAUER: Well, you know the church that he famously or infamously attended was, was odd in many ways. Not only the rantings of its pastor, the clear racist rantings of its pastor, which the President chose to listen to year after year with his family and his children. You know something that still in my view has never been adequately explained. But it was also a church that had some real strange ideas about Islam and Christianity. I’ve seen a number of suggestions that there were many people in the congregation that considered themselves both Christian and Muslim. Something that I’m sure both real Christians and real Muslims would deny is possible.
Not only did Bauer not disagree with Liddy’s claim that Obama is lying about his Christianity, he went on to praise Liddy’s contribution to America’s political debate.“You do an outstanding job on your show bringing people the information they need,” said Bauer.“I commend you for the good work you do every day.” Listen to it here:

He is also a race baiting racist, who will be sure to follow with a hate filled post about the average white, Christian, middle American that's being taxed to death and blamed for the woes of the world!
He is crazy like that!

Unless of course the incumbent is nothing but a Democrat in Republican clothing. It's clear that the Democrats know that Cochran's 40+ year run is not in jeopardy in the general election. Since he is an establishment politician that won't rock the boat, it makes perfect sense that he could appeal to Democrats and get them to turn out in droves. McDaniel on the other hand, WOULD rock the boat and do his part to get America back to the Constitution which is the anti-progressive, anti-establishment document. Neither the Democrats nor the establishment Republicans wanted that. No kink here.

So you think the man who has been Senator since 1978, from a ultra red southern state is a RINO? Seriously!

Hinds County Miss. is Mr. Cochran's base.

His base in Hinds Co. seen he was in trouble and turned out to vote in the run off.

In fact Cochran received over 7,000 more votes in the run off from Hinds Co. than he did in the primary.

While his opponent only had a increase of a little over 1,000 more votes.

That a lone could have won the run off for him, seeing how he only won by a 2% marj.

Mitch McConnell help raise over $800,000. in one night, he raked in over a million in PAC money for the primary and run off.

Three Miss. companies are the top recipients of Cochran's ear marks, they also rank in the top five donors to Mr. Cochran's war chest.

5 buildings between Ole Miss. and Miss St. named after him.

The facts say Mr.Cochran is old school Republican oligarch to the bone.
