You and Warrior are reactionary fools incapable of understanding anything beyond your front door. Oh you have a understanding of what you find beneficial to yourself and those like-minded but somehow lack the imagination or or critical thinking to process concepts beyond your local gas station coffee shop.

And you've swallowed, hook, line, and sinker the very bait that has been set by every reactionary movement throughout history...confuse and confound, divide and conquer....then rule with a iron fist. If there is a threat to this country, it is those that wrap themselves in the flag, espouse a hard-line religious zeal, all the while seeking to deny others their right to self-determination.
I would hate being as pessimistic, as fatalistic as most of you.
What has happened in the past is set in stone and can't be changed no matter how much liberals try. We have been tracking weather patterns long enough now to see that weather patterns repeat. What we are seeing now is a replay of what happened in the past. If you can't see that the science of climate follows the money and not the results, then it is you that have swallowed the bait hook, line, and sinker. Exactly what religious zeal do you speak? I'm not at all pessimistic but rather smart enough to see the predictable results of a government that is run as our government is being run.

Weather patterns? Only a very few influences affect this planet beyond normal earth related fluctuations in weather as evident , asteroid or other celestial impacts, massive volcanic activity, huge oceanic methane or other organic decomposition releases, and mankind to name a few.

To deny that mankind is responsible for our current, moreso future levels of Co2 related to our planet warming is preposterous and completely irresponsible.

Sure our society needs better representation, but that's not going to happen very soon, we are more divided along ideological lines than since the Revolution, your sides as responsible, if not more, for creating this mess as you profess is mine.

Your solution, ignore the warning signs, support the monied interests controlling this country, legislate morality.

It's more irresponsible to believe wholeheartedly that the science community is actually out for truth independent of the money they get for their research. I wasn't aware that independents were to bear the brunt of responsibility for the "mess" we are in. As for your side, just because it feels good and is emotionally charged, doesn't make it right. You guys could use a truckload of common sense and less of relying on someone else to feed you their "interpretation" of data and studies. I have said this before but I will say it again. You can make any study say anything you want by what you control for and what you don't. You would do well to learn that very important lesson.

You also would do well to learn that very important lesson. As you say, you can make any study say anything you want by what you control for and what you don't. I tend to believe Science a bit more than politicians or cable news outlets..but then again I seldom watch canned and agenda driven reality shows either.

I no more believe you are a true Independent than I believe you are a Democrat...but that's OK, I still find, as usual, your comments thoughtful and genuine...unlike most of the other comments posted here by your side.

Besides, I had rather "feel good" than bad.

Should I even answer that? You sound as though you haven't been keeping up with the liberal agenda but we both know that's not true.

I just made this account. Clicked on this series of comments. So sad.... maybe I should have clicked on something else first.... Ridiculous.

REMEMBER - It is a fairly narrow view that can be completely summarized in an internet blog post.

We are talking about multi-faceted, very complicated issues, that most of you are trying to WAY over-simplify. Or, maybe that is truly your view on things.. Simple. I don't know what to think right now.
