It would be good if Walmart had any real competition in El Dorado.

Why? They'll be hiring, so you can work, shop, and eat all at the same place!

I was wondering if its confirmed or speculation Walmart neighborhood store here in El Dorado if it were to be true wouldn't they put a Sam's Club here instead El Dorado not a metropolitan area we don't have 20,000 or more in population unless it's confirmed to be true I don't see a Walmart neighborhood store being here

Sam's and WalMart Neighborhood Markets are on far ends of the retail spectrum. WNMs are designed for smaller areas.

So you're saying El Dorado is small and declining in population? And everyone has been saying that El Dorado is growing. Damn you conspiracy theorists.

No, dumbass, he said WNM is designed for small areas. El Dorado is and always has been a small area. The only thing declining is your pisspoor attitude.

The neighborhood market is designed for urban areas. With the supercenter taking up so much of the market throughout the county, it wouldn't make sense for them to put up a competing store. The supercenter can't even get anything right to begin with.

Actually they are usually in Suburban areas of larger cities. Again, rumor has it they want to try one in a smaller town and are using El Dorado be cause of Murphy USA because they can't put a Murphy USA station at the current WalMart.
