Cheaper than throwing millions of dollars into an empty parking complex. Though we know you're not being serious, you make more sense than the "idea" lacking goober.

None of those costs (which some are not even actual costs accounted from tax payers or through city funds) even come REMOTELY close to the high costs of a multilevel parking garage. No local vendors are being "monopolized" by their parking. Your pie in the sky idea is what gets state and local governments onto extreme amounts of debt. Not only is your idea unrealistic for a town our size, but its not financially smart. Luckily, you're not in a position to make such stupid decisions with taxpayer money.
Correction!! None of you know it alls never even thought of such a simple solution!! If a decision to build such a facility without adequate parking I dont know what is!! We are not so lucky to have stupid morons like you making such stupid decisions with tax payers money!!

Who said the upper levels had to be garaged mr correcting ur confusion?? You are reinventing the wheel adding tons of extra expense!! What about a flat roofless upper level with a guard rail ,and bannister around it a lot less expensive.. Now if someone would go into a local TV station like was in paper not long ago, and attack a female like they did of all the places a TV station with cameras and monitors everywhere I dont believe they would even think twice about committing such a crime on a dark unlighted, unsecured street, and anyone else with a thimble full of common sense will have to agree with me.. Unfortunately people like you are too stupid to see the light!! Make stupid decisions with taxpayers money, have absolutely no respect for the vendors around you for sure their parking lots are theirs, not the CC!! They pay taxes and do all the upkeep on their parking lots not you or the city!! Want to see a confused, stupid, and inconsiderate freaking moron look at yourself before you start calling me one!! It takes one to know one as the old saying goes!! CAF

Never have I heard someone claim there isn't a problem with the CC parking. I guess its much easier to deny there is a problem than to actually solve the problem. The city planners and their lackeys are pathetically blind to every real issue in this town. I guess denial means never having to do anything more... Extra effort would just be horrible for them.
All of the town big sh*t leaders is mad because they couldnt come up with a smart simple way to resolve this issue until they heard it on here .. The mayor dont care or listen to what the people here has to say anyway, its his way or the highway!! They will never be big enough to admit they was wrong!! Lol

Vertis and Richard Mason lobbied hard to preserve the multi-level parking of the 46 Building. There may be something new under the sun, but it is not your eureka 'gasm.

They may should have listened to Richard and Vertis sounds like they had a little common sense. Before everyone around thinks they are antagonist they may need to look at it at a different angle that the Masons have tried to do good things for working people in this town, but they may have been over ruled by the mob!! They need somebody I guess for a fall guy, and I guess everything thats wrong here is the Masons fault!! Until proven otherwise, I strongly disagree!! It might be a ironic situation.( the difference in what appears to be true, and what really is is two different things)

Wrong again dumbass. It has actually been discussed, maybe 5 years ago, about a downtown parking complex. Brighter minds were able ti determine that parking fees from a small town like El Dorado would never be able to pay for the costs of construction in a reasonable amount of time. You don't have a "simple solution." You have an "expensive solution," dumbass.

Nobody with any common sense would agree with you. Your dumbass point to emphasize whether it has to be garages is a moot point; its too expensive for our town needs. Period. It's already been considered and debated, dumbass. You are a freakin moron, because you continue to argue a dead issue. I actually keep up with things around here. You're either new to the area or recently started giving a sh!t. Either way, you have much to learn.

It's been discussed years ago, dumbass. Nobody cares about your expensive solution for a non-issue. Are you purposefully being an idiot or does this come natural to you?

If you've been here since the 60s, as you claim, you'd realize that a multi-level parking complex had already been discussed. The costs for a town this size does not make sense. There already is adequate parking for the CC, as it has comfortably supported events of over 700 attendants with ZERO complaints. How can a donated trolley car be a joke, dumbass? As far as hiring local contractors, you are correct. Even if you have to pay a little more for local business (which is due to constant outsourcing), local businesses should ALWAYS be supported on government projects. Finally, something you are right about.

Plenty of parking as long as the c c is alowed to keep mowing over other surrounding businesses during their events. Think about it these businesses customers have no place to park and lose money the city is not paying for useage they are not paying taxes on that land or the upkeep. Get your own parking lot and quit bulldozing over the surrounding businesses during events.. You inconsiderate POS Things will be ok until surrounding businesses take a stand then you wont have the parking and will have to fix that stupid fkup you freaking moron

What other businesses are they "mowing over?" Since their events are generally during the evenings: most college parking lot is vacant, the banks are closed, street parking is vacant, and Brookshires is slow. There hasn't been one complaint from local businesses to have gone public, so why are you creating the idea of a problem that is clearly not there? The CC has plenty of parking for their daytime visitors, and plenty more available parking from surrounding vacant streets and lots during the evening. Surrounding businesses are actually supported when attention is brought to their lots, familiaring more people with their LOCATIONS, you freakin POS shitstirring moron. This is why dipshits like you aren't ask for their opinion.
