Police seem so concerned about "messages". Well, what kind of message does that send?
Remind me again, who is the criminal here?
I hear you on this issue. When drugs are illegal, anyone who uses them can not go the the police. The police cannot be trusted to protect them. Then what happens is the wealthier and smater of these users hire "private security" who take care of business and things end up really messy like they are in Juarez Mexico now....
Bad lawz lead to a lawless society.
Only sane answer is to legalize.

Anectdotal evidence...a man in Long Beach jumped a bank robber at the F&M bank and THREE people were shot. Get that bank out of my neighborhood!
Yea, no kidding huh? When will they learn that we are too medicated to care anyway! The "Man" is alway's trying to use old scare tactics that a 5 year old could see through!
Like most people on here said, everything and anything get's robbed much more than harmless smoke! Leave the "Gestapo" tactics along with a bucket of chicken at Big Bill's house, he'll know how to handle it! I schooled this fool over "The Mill Valley stop, yield's pot bust" B.S. Check it out man, it's funny sonny!Purple Kush rocks holmes!

For the people who have been asleep for the past 100 years or so......drugs in the form of alcohol, cigarettes, prescription medicines, etc have been around for eons. It's only when it is illegal that the problems escalate--it's all about the money. Wake up America!

For those of you who have been asleep for the past 100 years or so.....we have been consuming drugs for eons in the form of alcohol, tobacco, prescription and over-the-counter medicines, herbal supplements, etc. It is only when they are made illegal that the worst problems arise. Just follow the money.

I wonder where citizens in my district are supposed to get medicine when they are sick and dying? Everyone will get a chance to take their turn and suffer pain and regrets for this terrible ordinance.

Name me one town that has reversed themselves on a dispensary moratorium or ban since Richard Lee and the Gang of Four in Oakland passed a tax on MEDICINE.

Yet these same people have put an initiative on the ballot claiming it will legalize marijuana in California.

So, what city and county in the state do you think is going to legalize marijuana to get a few dollars in sales tax?

If they aren't jumping to gouge the sick and dying with taxes, what makes you think ...?

The tragedy is that many of you are going to vote for Tax & Regulate thinking it will end the madness, when it will only make things worse. Much worse.

Don't believe me. Read it for yourselves.
