Even the American Conservative ( www.amconmag.com ) noted that when Jerry Brown was Governor of California that he was "much more of a fiscal conservative than Governor Ronald Reagan." In fact his fiscal restraint resulted in one of the biggest budget surpluses in state history.

"Meg Whitman is what's right with America," Mario Pellegrini, of
Montara, said after the debate. "She's an expression of this new Tea
Party revolution that's taking place."
Then why is she running as a Republican and not on the Tea Party platform? She chose to distance herself from Sarah Palin also when asked. She is also what is wrong with this country.

I think you need to take a look at how it worked out for Oakland have Jerry Brown as a mayor. Not too good of an outcome, was it?

Buying a seat in government after not even bothering to vote or participating in government for eleven years is arrogant. The power of money and hubris is on display for all to see with Meg. I'm hoping that Californians send her a resounding repudiation in November.

Many think that the Brown supporters will willingly sell their children and grandchildren into tax slavery in order to feed the never ending greed of the public employee unionistas who paid for Jerry Brown's campaign.

Those who believe our children shouldn't be reduced to nothing more than Tax Slaves will Vote for Meg Whitman.

It is an easy call.

Not again.

I am Governor Meg Whitman
My aura smiles
And never frowns
Soon I will be president...

Obama Power will soon go away
I will be Fuhrer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school
Your kids will meditate in school!

[Chorus:]
California Uber Alles
California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California
Uber Alles California

Zen fascists will control you
100% natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face

Close your eyes, can't happen here
Big Bro' on white horse is near
The hippies won't come back you say
Mellow out or you will pay
Mellow out or you will pay!

[Chorus]

Now it is 2010
Knock-knock at your front door
It's the suede/denim secret police
They have come for your uncool niece

Come quietly to the camp
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don't you worry, it's only a shower
For your clothes here's a pretty flower.

DIE on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will croak, you little clown
When you mess with President Meg
When you mess with President Meg

Yeesh, maybe she was a little busy building and running that podunk company called Ebay? We need a savvy businesswoman like her in government, NOT a professional politician.

"People are really mad!" Only because our choices are such as they are... But a vote for Brown would not be a best case scenario. That's a fact.

When have crimes and gangs ever gotten better in Oakland? You can probably say the same about any Oakland Mayor.

Voting record
The Sacramento Bee reported that Whitman did not vote for 28 years, after reviewing her voting records in California. Records uncovered by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt countered the claims of the Sacramento Bee and resulted in an interview by Hewitt with editor Amy Chance.[68] Whitman has stated that she is happy to discuss the matter
2010 campaign for California Governor
Main article: California gubernatorial election, 2010
On February 10, 2009, Whitman announced she would run for governor of California in the 2010 election.
Whitman's campaign is largely self-funded, she has spent more of her own money on this effort than any other self-funded political candidate in U.S. history.
As of September 15, she had spent a record-breaking $119 million of her own money.
The Daily Caller said that her "penchant for throwing money around is well known in California political circles." The comment came in connection with the disclosure that her campaign had paid far above market rates for advertising on a conservative political blog. The blog's founder, addressing the issue of a possible attempt to influence the blog's content, said he had made clear to the Whitman campaign that "advertising and editorial are two very different things."
In the summer of 2010 Whitman released a political ad which seemingly contained images of the FAIL Blog website, making it appear in the ad as if Jerry Brown had been the subject of one of the website's namesake "fails." Ben Huh, founder of the Cheezburger Network, of which failblog.org is a part, has demanded an apology and the removal of the video, stating that the image was faked, and that the website is non-partisan and has never endorsed a particular political candidate or party. FactCheck.org found that "Meg Whitman's attack ad fails to tell the truth"

Republican Meg Whitman is making false claims about Democrat Jerry Brown’s "lifetime in politics" in an attack ad. The two are battling to become the next governor of California.
• The ad claims that "crime soared" while Brown was mayor of Oakland. That’s false. The total number of crimes actually went down by more than 13 percent.
• Also false is the ad’s claim that Brown "damaged the school system so badly the state had to take it over." As mayor, Brown had almost no control over the school district, which was run instead by an elected school board.
• A charge that Brown "lobbies for a corporate polluter" is highly misleading. Brown wasn’t a paid lobbyist. The claim is based on a phone call he made for a past campaign contributor, and it had nothing to do with pollution.
• The ad claims Brown worked to "send California jobs to China," but that’s unproven. The claim rests on an 18-year-old newspaper story that Brown strongly denied.
Some of the ad’s other claims lack context. For example, it’s true as claimed that California had unemployment of 11 percent when Brown finished his time as the state’s governor. But the ad fails to mention that the national unemployment rate was 10.8 percent at the time

poor excuse. people around the world have scraficed their lives in order to cast a ballot. even our service men and women find the time to vote on the other side of the world. she might be a great business women, but that is no excuse for not casting a ballot.

MEG WON DEBATE!
Listen up Dems, Repubs & Independents!!
The facts do not lie.
Jerry Brown has had 40 years of being a career politician
with a legacy of broken promises and failure.
He failed to create jobs as Governor.
He failed to improve schools as Mayor of Oakland.
And he's failed taxpayers at every turn..
Brown has supported HIGHER TAX increases 15 times during his career--against the will of the people.
As Governor, he increased spending by 120% PERCENT.
As Mayor of Oakland, his budget increased by 62% PERCENT.
On jobs, Brown left the Governor’s office in January 1983 at a time of record unemployment: Over 1.3 million Californians
were OUT of work— the unemployment rate was whopping 11% percent.)=

And on schools, Brown failed to deliver on one of his top promises as Mayor of Oakland.
The schools were mired in a $100 million deficit & had were taken over by the state to avoid bankruptcy.
Tragically, the dropout rate in Oakland during Brown’s mayor-ship increased by 50% PERCENT.
Oakland residents today despise Brown!
Brown is in bed with Employee/State/Teachers Unions and their hefty pensions which have bankrupted Californians.
A vote for Jerry is tragic and immoral.
