Defendant describes stabbing wife to death

A downtown San Diego man told a jury Thursday he was strung out on methamphetamine and intended to force his estranged wife to perform sex acts when he stabbed her to death in a Spring Valley parking lot.

Marion Chillis lied on the witness stand in order to take one more jab at the Peggy Conley-Chillis Family. Chillis and the blow-job story is nothing more than his slanted recollection of his recent inmate oral sex rape experiences. San Diego Union Tribune-what's wrong with you? 60 Witnesses testified in this case, and the only thing you focus in on is the oral sex and drugs piece told only by the murderer himself? This man stabbed his wife in the back of the head, face, front and back,approximately 24 times which left the knife bent at a 90 degree angle. Additionally, the 911 tape was played in court with her voice on it,while she lay dying on the ground, however she was still alive in the hospital approximately 4 -5 more hours begging for her life. 60 Witnesses testified to how Marion stalked her, harrassed her friends, laying wait outside their houses waiting to attack Peggy, and how he threatened to kill her years before this happened. Peggy has three children, two of which were questioned by Marion Chillis the murderer as he represented himself. Where's their testimony, why didn't you print that? They were terrified of him. There were CSI photos of her body and the bloody clothes, and all of the murder weapons which Chillies carried with him that day. Why didn't you print that portion of the trial? The fact that he bought Peggy a car when they were first married, only to then pour sugar in the tank to keep her from driving it, sheds more light on his hitler type controlling mentality. Marion Chillis is not going to get away with this murder no matter what idiot tricks he tries to play in court. There's 13 Jurors, 12 of which are women, and one is a male. Almost all white. Chillis is a dead man walking...in prison forever that is!

Marion is my uncle and I knew something was wrong with him long before this killing took place. He called my mother (his sister) a "bitch" about 7 or 8 years ago. Then, one day at a funeral, almost 7 years ago (in 2001), he lashed out on me for some comment I said. He wanted to almost hit me. And, note, this is the first time (and my last) that I had seen him in years. StandUp... is correct about his temper. He has a violent and uncontrollable raging temper at times. He also got nasty with my mother when she visited him at a hotel and screamed at her repeatedly to "Get out and go away!".

StandUp is also right about his Hitler mentality, he not only wanted to dominate Peggy, he wanted to be always right and force his views on the entire family. Last year he wrote me a letter picking out all the faults I have and then calling my mother a "lying bitch" in the letter. He still hasn't changed his viewpoint and focused on the things he done wrong in his life. As for his drug use, he told me in the letter he sent to me that he used EVERY illcit drug on the market. Not just the ones he mentioned on the news.

At one time though, Marion was a decent person who always inspired me to do good in college and he sent me money when I needed it. He also sent me money once by suprise. But I guess all that changed when he got wrapped up with Peggy and the newer and more dangerous drugs out on the market, like meth.

Ice Buster, I'm sorry to hear that Marion is your Uncle. My condolences to your Mother as well, this must be shocking and devestating to your family. However, when you mention that "Marion was a decent person...but I guess all that changed when he got wrapped up with Peggy....NO, his previous wife was battered by him and on 2 or more occasions had restraining orders against him as well. Marion couldn't produce children, and that caused issues in his first marriage. Maybe he didn't feel like a Man, and became a violent as a result to "feel powerful". Marion placed value on the wrong things, and it's nobody's fault except his own. Peggy didn't introduce him to hard drugs, he was doind hard drugs way before he met Peggy. I want him to be executed within 72 hours of sentencing, and his remains donated to science for further brain/behavior research to help educate (on the warning signs and biological makeup of a violent person) in order to enhance the prevention of domestic violence.

Marion was always a little different in high school. He did well academically but had no social skills. It was rare for him to say more than hello. Never really bothered me that no friendship cultivated between us, his deep set eyes and large head always freaked me out.
My heart aches for that poor woman. How dear that beast/demon Marion think he had the right to dehumanize another being and assault her at will. He is a sick and twisted bastard and i hope he is not placed in solitary. My wish for marion is that he is assaulted, raped and spit on daily for the rest of his life, that sick bastard.

Sick bastard is right...!!! Any man that would do this to another human being BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT HIS SICK ASS deserves to "assaulted, raped and spit on daily for the rest of his life"!!! I also know his sister, who is a lovely lady. And, I know his late brother, Wilbur, who was NOTHING like this demon. It still blows my mind that he turned out this way. But, the freaky part -- I talked to him about a month before this all happened. A friend of mine in California asked me to call him. Marion recounted the episode where he beat up on Peggy: "I whipped that bitch's ass"! I called my friend and said that there is something really wrong with this dude....and, never talked to him, again. The call freaked me out so badly that I blocked his # from my phone. And, to realize that he did this soon after is awful!!!!
