Wow where were you Dr. one year ago when I was tring to figure out why all of Fullerton drives differently then the rest of the state? When I moved to Fullerton about 3 years ago it didn't take me long to see that everyone runs red lights here and when I figured out why was because Fullerton has no "ALL RED PERIOD" meaning, when the light turns green one direction, at the same time as it turnes red for the opposite direction. Also I found out that Fullerton was the only city {out of the 15 cities I called} that has no all red light at busy intersections. I was never given a good reason why. This causes way too many accidents at high rates of speed. The Engineering Traffic Analyst kept passing me arround with the same answer like I didn't understand english or something. We have way too much traffic here in fullerton with the train, bus depo, airport, courthouse. I guess the city would rathger see an accident or two than slow down the movement of traffic. Shame on the city of fullerton for not useing the all red period that cal-trans said you should.
