Allegheny Power is abusing their power. They have known for years that the metropolitan areas on the east were growing and were demanding more energy. Instead of using their profits to develope new and CLEAN energies, teach people conservation, offer insentives for conservation; they have chosen to strip our land, bribe, deceive we the people and not care about the health of our citizens or the Earth. Shame Shame on Allegheny Power. My county in WV is being directly affected by this huge transmission line ,TrAIL; these lines do NOT service our energy needs ( we out source 70 per cent of the energy we create); Let the people who use this energy build the lines in their back yards. And just maybe Al Gore, should visit these dirty power plants that are some of the dirties in the country and place dangerous greenhouse gasses into our atmosphere. Maybe people should listen to the warnings of how we are destroying our Earth. Last quarter Allegheny Power's profit was 77MILLION dollars; use the dollars to change the way people use energy.
