Personally, I don't think your comment is funny at all. That is, if you were trying to be funny. It's not Mexican's, it's EVERY RACE lately. So many husbands killing wives and kids. What is going on?? There have been many white men lately too by the way. It's just really sad that a person, man or woman, can't deal with their problems and resorts to this. I mean, a lot of times it is because of divorce or estrangement. To kill your innocent children with your bare hands takes a monster of a man. Truly pathetic that a grown adult can't handle their mistakes.

Why are we talking about race, two babies and a mother were killed. Regardless of what race he should pay for what he did to them and all involved.

I really do agree with Local Mother of three. It's a sad situation.I really feel for the family members that have to deal with the deaths of their loved ones and seeing that the husband is punished as he should be.He should be locked up for life so he doesn't have a chance to do it to someone else

Here we have yet ANOTHER case of a woman who was able to get a PFA against a man (a miracle in Washington County). No protection was given to her. The man called the mental health professionals, yet they made no calls to put the sucker into an immediate evaluation? Why not? Washington County must spend over a half a million dollars of taxpayers money each year ordering psychological evaluations in CYF courts. Some mothers in that venue endure five or six evaluations, all saying that they are fine, but these same judges still say that the mothers are mentally unfit to care for their children. Clearly, this man had mental health issues, enough to call, identify himself and be ignored. Washington County should be sued HARD for this one.

I totally agree with all comments so far. When there is enough evidence to prove someone unfit why is it so damn hard anymore to get a PFA approved ?? This world is crazy and the system is just pure ridiculous. But if he would of "threatened" to kill say our President would he then be in jail. What's the difference in human life no matter who it is ?????

Its sad that their are so many people that are out their hurting people and do not care. people lost respect for one each other. and a lot of people out hear have mental issue and do not get any help for it. because they think that they are not sick and they will get no help for it until they kill somebody. then end up in prison for the rest of their life when really they need to be in a hospital. they put alot of mental people in jail when they really need to be in a hospital.

The woman actually got a PFA, a miracle in Washington County as you have to prove the man has the actual "means" to kill you, and then prove that he really is a threat because the judges say that "if he was going to kill you, he would have killed you by now". So, if the man does not have a gun, no PFA. This woman got one. Then the man called the useless Washington County Mental Health people saying that he was going to hurt them or himself, and they did nothing. Did they at least call the police to tell them to do a few rounds to see if she was OK? No, because in Washington County, women are beaten, murdered, harassed, you name it, with the blessing of the police and courts. Your fault for marrying him, they say. Women kill themselves in this county - hang themselves - all at thehands of abusive partners. Where are the statistics?

I can't think of a worse story then this. I don't know how a man could look his own children in the eye as he snuffed the life out of them. My heart goes out to the family and anyone who knew this young women and precious children.

Give me a BREAK.
With his "history", she is as much to blame as
him.
She stayed with him and put herself and the kids
in harms way.
Both parents are nuts and the little kids are the
big losers here.
Some people really shouldn't be allowed to breed.

I understand she did get a PFA. Understand he was suppose to be supervised when he visited with his children. Who was supervising? Why did she go alone to his place to pick them up. Why get a boyfriend when you haven't divorced your crazy, abusive, drug using husband yet? Why put this person in danger? Why call the police, go to a women's shelter, get a PFA and then not follow the advice given. Why couldn't he just move on when it was over? So he called Mental health probably setting up his insanity plea. Why the smile? Why the innocent children? Why Why Why

Why didn't she leave? Simple. There are children involved, and in Washington County, even with a PFA, the woman must allow the abuser to see the children. SHe is not allowed to leave or SHE will be found in contempt of court and CYF will give the abuser, AGAIN, the children. Does anyone remember the other case where the mother was forced to hand her three children over to her abusive husband who promptly took the three kids out into the woods and shot each in the the head, and then himself? Domestic violence is a real problem, Judges. Wake up and do something.

Men do not beat me. I watched my best friend go through this process. Her husband gunned her down in broad daylight. She was not allowed to leave - no matter how bad the husband was, she was forced to meet with him to exchange the children. But the police do not act as a safe exchange place, not their job.

And by the way, according to her family, the woman was cut up in pieces. Cause of death, suffication. Then cut up in pieces for that extra special touch.

She had a chance to leave before the children. Believe me he didn't become an abuser overnight.Did she think she was going to change him, did she think children were going to change him? You can't blame the system on these problems. He is the only one to blame. The police are too busy handleing domestic calls where they are arresting the abuser and the wife is attacking them.

Nobody was cut up.....another rumor of washington county.I knew the mother and accussed killer well.Lets start off with somethings don't fit.She got the pfa he had only saturday visits...remeber he's crazy right...then why did she drop the kids for an overnight visit by herself. If he was such a threat like she claims then why would you leave your babies there unsupervised and you pick them up alone....bull****.also don't forget the boyfriends statement..he called her at 11:30am and the estranged husband answered why did he not call police and why did he wait til 11:30pm to check on her...that has to make you wonder a little.there are too many pieces to the puzzle that dont fit...also the papers say they have been seperated for 3 months...funny i was out with them as a couple 1and 1/2 months ago.I have to wonder if the police are really looking hard at this or just basing their investigation on washington countyu gossip
