That former policer officer, took an oath of honor at one time to always have the courage to hold himself and others accountable for their actions. Harsher punishment should have been done to him, when he committed the first crime and it was swept under the table by the county. I will vote for JIM HANNAN if that is what he will do for me and my family.
Lone Ranger, YOU DISGUSTED ME, even suggesting a fair trail....I ask you this if this happen to one of your family members would you still want a fair trial? Or are you one of the ones that swepted this under the table the first time?

He deserves to be put down like a sick dog. He should have a quick trial so the families of the victoms don't have to relive that day again. I'm sure that they have been through enough all ready.Make the trial speedy and the execution even faster. Prayers with the families.

I don't know anything anout any of these people you are talking about except for Mr. Somerville. For several years I lived next door to two of Mr. Sommerville's daughters, son in law and granddaughter. I had the pleasure of meeting mr. Somerville many times. All I can say is that he was a very nice man who obviously adored his family and dealt with many serious health issues. It breaks my heart that he had to struggle to get to his knees only to be heartlessly executed by a person who had no regard for human life. It does not matter if the killer was an ex cop. His cruel murder of these people is all that matters. He destroyed many more than just two lives that day,the victims families will never be the same and my heart breaks everyday for them. Even if he is executed it will be a more humane death than Mr. Sommerville received. To his daughters Kelly and Salley, I love you guys and am so sorry you are suffering this loss. I will be more than happy to plug in that electric chair so you can flip the switch.

Sommerville family, first let me say, that I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I also want to say thank you for posting your opinions on this. Lastly, that I am sorry there are people on here like Lone Ranger. I want you to know that most of us support your opinion in this and would be happy to provide the rope, step stool and the bat. Some of us have feared for a while now that something tragic like this would happen with escalating drug use and lack of good law enforcement. I know words can not ease your pain, but we share your loss and support you in your search for justice.

Death penalty is too easy. Drawn and quartered maybe? Flayed alive? oooh - Stoned! I like that one. I'd bring plenty. What he did was heinous. He deserves a fair trial yes - one where he'll be quickly taken off the face of this earth.

I have been attempting to keep a tone with the entire proceedings. I would hope that the investigators are continuing to look into the background of Holt and his murderous rages. As a well experienced homicide detective l would suggest that there is more to Holt than just drugI craze murder robbery.
Profiling Holt would be essential in order to ascertain his criminal activity. This case is a prime example of premeditation.
I am hoping that no outside intervention will be exhibited and that prosecutors and justice will prevail. I can tell you through experience, there really is no closer in a case like this, it simply comes down to justice.

And I'm Richard Sommervilles eldest daughter. Jason B Holt is a worthless piece of s**t that should not breath the same air as the rest of us. He is a scumbag and anyone that thinks he is deserves a fair trail should experience what its like to lose a loved one to such a heinous crime. Maybe then you will feel and understand what it's like first hand. Obviously you Lone Ranger is as heartless as Holt himself. He deserves no trial. hang him and let each member of the families he has destroyed have a good swing at him with a bat before they kick the stool from under his feet.
I am the real Lone Ranger an I am truly sorry for your loss. There are those that are posting my post that I am for Jason Holt, but that is far from the truth. I hate Jason with a passion, there are those who don,t like me for standing up for are sheriff Scott Layell. I,m sorry but he saved are sons life an I will never forget him. If you read about this man Hannan he is going to clean up all the troubles in our county. He needs to look at his own troubles like his bank troubles an tax problems. This is what we don,t need at these times. Once again you read my former posts an I have always been for the right man.
fair trial or not

Fair trial or not, this man is a walking dead man. This has been proven just within 24 hours of his being placed in custody. What most don't realize is Mr Holt had to be placed in JeffersonCo Jail shortly after his arrest due to death threats. While I am not saying I am for his exectution, that is neither here or there. The facts remain he did not think to give these men a chance. Mr Lovell, a loving man who loved his wife, his children, his family, his friends and was a pillar of the community- he had no chance. Mr Sommerville who also loved his wife, children, grandchildren and was a Christian man as well, he had no chance. What some don't know is Mr Holt knocked him to his knees because he was "Slow" getting down on his knees himself due to recent surgeries. Mr Holt gave him no chance either. The women, Mr Holt's intention was not to give them a chance either. This is not about politics, it is about what is right and what is wrong. Mr Holt's "rights" he did as a cop will never excuse him from his wrongs. As Mr Sommerville was knocked to his knees, he was shot before his knees even hit the floor... and you talk about fairness... Steve Lovell obliged by this monster's orders, gave him what he asked, yet his children are spending a Father's Day without their daddy,,, explain your chances and fairness to these families. The Bible itself says an eye for an eye. That is fair enough for me.

Let me set the record straight right now !!!. First of all you are the Lone Ranger, you keep changing your names on Topix by using many different, You also change location. You are the one who wrote about the Fair Trail for Jason Holt.
Now, you come out and make the false allegation about James Hannan, if you did any of your research competitively you would have found out that the credit blemishes are on James Hannan, Jr. or James Hannan, Mr. Hanna's son. His son has signed a affidavit which I has personally read that the "Tax and bank problems" also belong ti James Hannan, Jr. you dum idiot. This will be laid all out and has nothing to do with his dad.
You come out and camouflage your name to hide from the truth, while criticizing the victims of the shooting. We all know you are have an investment with the sheriff, what is it drugs ? money ? sex ? You make us all sick.
So, keep posting your lies, you will soon see who has the last laugh scumbag. Maybe you can be seated next to your pal Jason in time, which you tried to defend but got caught. By the way, we all urge you to contact the press and turn those "credit records' over to the press, PLEASE DO !!. Let the press do want they do best.

I agree take your records to the media, take them all. Make sure you copy line for line. Go to the TV channels, newspapers, radio and whatever you have hidden in those woods. I am serious now, go head do it.
I guess you really don't know him now do you ? I guess you will very shortly. Like i just got done telling your dual personality, remember to bend over and kiss your butt goodbye, I would not like to be on your receiving end. But, I am sure you have all this evidence against Jim to knock him right out of tat race. Right ?

Cop or no cop, he killed people for no good reason. He might have once been a good man with a good heart, but now he's seriously damaged, the drugs have corrupted him. He has became a threat to the people around him. He don't deserve to hang, that ends it way to sudden. For what he done, he should suffer. Put him in prison for life with the people he locked up, and leave him to defend for himself. We will see if they show him the same mercy as he showed the people he shot and killed.

You now I grew up with Jason ,and it shocked me to hear of this . I hadn't seen im in probably 10 years, and I feel sorry for his mother . This has to be hard on her . Now what he did was horrible . He had what he wet I for . He had already scared those poor people ad then he coldly one by one shot them execution style . My oinion is let the families of the victims have their time with him and hurt him so bad until the pain makes him go into shock and DIE . It is hard for me to say that because his mother hs now lost her son , but he is the one who hurt her too . I have said my peace . like it or leave it

Sommervilles...I think Holt should be turned over to the families of the ones he murdered and shot. Now THAT might would be just a small measure of justice. God Bless You.

I am so sick of seeing crap about Jason Holt. Living in Bean Station that seems to be the hot topic. He's getting a fair trial. They had to get jury members from distant counties in order to give the P.O.S a fair trial. They knew if they used anyone from around here or even close, we'd send him straight to the electric chair no if, and or buts about it. Any person who says he is innocent needs to be in the cell with him. He was caught red handed by the police and he's on the tape. They have the whole shooting on video. I can't wait until his trial. I pray justice is served. What he did was just heartless. I have no pity for that man. If you support him your just an idiot.
