I'm glad that NJ has such strict gun laws... they really seem to be working. You can see how these stirct laws stop violent crime.

The shooter was from PA and probably got his gun there... Gun Laws if you like them or NOT they are useless unless they are Nation wide. going state by state is just STUPID. A gun buyer just has to travel a little to get what ever he wants....

I know what point he is trying to make. Last year a man was stabbed to death outside the poker room at the same casino...Taj Mahal. Where was mcall's coverage on this horrific incident. There was none, why was that? Oh I know.....there was NOT a place called the Sands at that time.

"This is what happens when gambling comes to Bethleum,"

This item made the Phillie TV news last night. The Sands has nothing to do with it, but will it be the brunt of blame henceforth from urban sprawl in the townships to the rising crime wave in Bangor and UMBT.

Naw, probably a jealous husband, ex, or some mentally challanged individual. Mob erasures are usually never found.

The shooter had to obtain his weapon in PA. It it in violation of Federal law to purchase a gun in a State other than the one you live, unless you hold a Federal Firearms License, something only gun dealers can obtain. In order to purchase a firearm from out of State, a dealer with an FFL in the State of the buyer must first purchase the gun, and then sell it to the end user.
It is also illegal to transport a firearm across State lines, unless the firearm is in the possession of one with an FFL, completing the sale to another FFL dealer.

Im guessing that the guy realy did not care about the law and could buy the gun on the street in AC or any other city for that matter if he really wanted to. The law will not stop a criminal.

I think the guy was a regular casino hustler, and Kot knew this and he was trying to get rid of this guy. Kot pushed him to much, and this is what could happen.

There must have been over 25 positive articles written in the morning call over the course of the last week about the sands (it was actually starting to get sickening), I think it is a strech to insinuate the morning call is trying to sabatoge the casino.

It seems a lot of people get VERY paranoid any time there is any negative comment about the casino. Unless you work for the place, I just don't get it.

Quite right. I assumed that he purchased the weapon legally. And we all know what happens when you assume.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Pisces

Whether the excesses of the past few days are catching up with you or you're feeling drained for other reasons, you need as much rest as possible today. Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
