My prayers and sympathy go out to the Clark family during this sad time.
But...it also gives the public media and other families with elderly relatives suffering with dementia and other health issues an OPPORTUNITY TO REFLECT on this tragic end to Mr. Clark's life. This event could have been prevented if he had NOT BE ALLOWED to drive alone (or even at all) in his present mental condition. Had any of his family members had any discussion with him about his driving alone since he began to show the signs of dementia? Too often families with elderly relatives refuse to confront the reality of death and/or injury of an elderly loved one who continues to be allowed to drive until it is too late...as was the fate of Mr. Clark. This poor family has the sad memory of this nice man dying alone and lost in the woods in his own car. Please do not let Hugh Clark have died in vain. Please talk to the elderly drivers in your families!

Such a sad story... With Veterans' Day just around the corner, a special thanks to Mr. Clark for his service and to his family that stood by him during that time. No matter if we are at war or not during enlistments for soldiers, it still shows a hugh amount of dedication to our country. With deepest sympathy to the Clark Family and friends...
