Father Says He Would Forgive Daughter's Kidnapper

The North Carolina father of a 7-year-old girl who vanished on her way home from school in Florida says he would forgive a kidnapper as long as his daughter returns home.

This is very sad. I have no idea how the family could be feeling. I hope they find the monster that did this. They should then let the mom and dad take care of that monster.

Who in their right mind would even think about taking a helpless child and doing whatever to them, They are sick, We need to come up with a solution for these sex offenders not to be allowed in public. My thoughts and prayers are are with somer's family, It's in gods hands now.

I hope God sends his grace to this family they will be needing it in the months and even years to come and I agree with one of the others if they catch this guy he probably wont spend ten years and he'll be out hunting agian and I would just about venture to say he,s probably already registered my thoughts on his punishments are just this if he,s proven guilty you take him out back put him in a cell and tell him you got 20 minutes to pray to who ever you pray too because on minute 21 Im stepping out the back door with a 44 and youll be going to meet him case closed

As I sit here this morning with A heavy heart, I am so saddened by this news of little Somer being found in A landfill. This is A cruel, cruel world we live in. Without the grace of God through Salvation in Jesus Christ ,we would be doomed. My heart and prayers go out to the family. Oh this is terrible! I have a 23 month old, and it makes my skin crawl to think about how someone could do this to an INNOCENT child!! I do have some questions though...exactly how old is the sister that she was allowed to walk home with??? if the sister could tell her to quit "squabbling" then why couldnt she call her back when she walked off??? or run after her?? Just thinking that MAYBE if whoever done this had seen more than one kid, maybe they would have just drove on by. I feel soooo sorry for this entire family, and they will be in my prayers for a long time!!!!

When will this world wake up and start living by God's Laws. This person if and when found, and all others should be punished to to every extent of the law. Our country is way to Lax on punishement. How many more lives of innocent children need to be lost before our State and our so called President take control, and delieving harsher punishments. I hope when this person is caught, we don't put him up in a nice comfortable cell and feed him. I would like to know this person suffers like this little girl did. If we could get some of these people hanged in the street or shot in a line up. I truly believe this would not happen as often.
