Gov. Tim Pawlenty says the disputed spending cuts he'll make next Wednesday "may be different in scale, but ... not different in kind" from those made by other governors.

Governor is simply doing his job, and doing it well. The legislators think we enjoy having them spend our money on their pet projects. We're already one of the highest taxed states in the nation....enough is enough..

So here's how your DFL'ers would "clean up" the mess: a $1 billion tax hike. Yup, a $1 billion tax hike. Didja get that? A $1 billion tax hike. On top of two tax hikes they passed last session. Minnesota, and unfortunately Wisconsin as well (under Democratic leadership) are becoming two of the highest taxed states. In Badgerland the Dems (governor and legislature) are increasing taxes on both citizens and business. What a great way to aide economic recovery? You tax-and-spenders just don't get it, and probably never will.

What we are seeing is the end of the GOP! We should all be cheering because they will not win another election. Once the DFL takes control we can implement things that actually help the poor and middle class rather than the rich. Tpaw is done and we should rejoice!
