Fairfield University plans to hire a lawyer to conduct an internal review of the extent of the school's support for a Haitian charity founded by an alumnus accused of molesting he was supposed to be helping.

Unfortunately, perpetrators of all kinds of crimes are very skilled at hiding their acts. Look at the "BTK" killer. He got away with his crimes for years and was very involved in his church. It is really too bad that Fairfield University will be involved in this scandal and that a program helping some of the most needy in Haiti had to have this happen. I hope that these children will continue to be helped, but by those that will do it the right way and for the right reasons.

I wish posters would READ AND COMPREHEND THE WHOLE STORY. Obviously, Perlitz was not known to be a child molester when he was at Fairfield U or for some time later. Perhaps he hid it for some years. It is good, tho that he has been stopped.
He definitely fooled many people that were helping and contributing to this charity because of their good intentions.
