Wedding joke on mom pulled behind her back...Literally

[Mama Done Wrong]

ON 10-17-09 Melissa Grissom married Jeremiah(Jay)Cox Stephens.The reason for two last names is because when he was born his mom was pissed off at his Dad and gave him her exhubbys last name.Back to Oct. 17. You see everyone that knows Melissas Mom knows that her Dad did not want her and made that fact known everyday her mom was pregnant with her.I dont care how long you live this is one thing you can never forget and if he were to try to deny his behavior at that time mom has plenty of witnesses to back her up.She took care of both of her girls by herself with no help from dead beat dad. Melissa and Mom left and Mom continued to raise her alone. Mom married her stepfather John and he not Mr. Verlon has provided all dental, all medical, food,money for school ,tripsand provided her with a vehicle none of this from her Dad. Mom told Melissa the child she had done everything for that the dead-beat- dad in no way deserved the honor of walking her daughter in the church or giving her away. Melissa assured Mom she was going to walk herself in. I as her mother was okay with that. So we all get to the wedding and what happens the sorry good for nothing dead beat dad that wasnt there for my daughter walked her in. And to top it all off this dead beat that wasnt there for hergave my daughter away. When the preacher said who gives this woman away he said I do. He did in no way earn that right.He was only a sperm donor . mama and John done all the work with absolutely no appreciation from Melissa. It was just a cruel joke on the two peolple that trully raised her.

Melissa congrats on your marriage .... It is every girls dream that their Dad can walk them down the asile on their Wedding Day . I see the mom's point. Melissa could have who she wanted walk her down the aisle, but she should have told her mom about her decision. Maybe her mom would have had a fit and that's what Melissa was trying to avoid, but if she's old enough to get married, she's old enough to face that music.

From the mom in this case you should have seen the father in all his mental visits at the colummbia unit. He was patient of the year one year.He destroyrdhis oldest daugghters radio because he didnt like her music.He treated me his exwife like property that he owned.I dont care what anyone says this man that never done one thing to care for his kids did not deserve to walk her in or give her away. He never provided one pennies worthof medical ,dental,braces,Her stepdaddid that.66

It seems to me that ANY mother that "loves" her daughter so much would not subject her to such embarrassment and humiliation as to air their dirty laundry on a trash-talking gossip site.....seriously...it sounds to me as if YOU...the mother...should be the one that should be ashamed...and why is it that only you and melissa left...what about your other daughter? If your ex was as bad as you say, why would you leave the other daughter behind? Sounds like excellent parenting skils on your part too... and as far as his mental issues go...sounds like you have them too so i dont believe you are really in a position to judge ANYONE elses mental status....

In my opinion mom needs to grow the hell up and get a life. A young girl havin her daddy walkin her down the aisle is her dream.
