well, I'm a bisexual and I came out a few years ago in school. People were just as smallminded then as they are now apparently. Do the majority of you seriously make no attempt to cherish your own lives? It's that or you strive to degrade others for the sheer disgusting joy your self esteem feeds on from others misery. It's absolutely nauseating to realize that the greater population of this area has no respect for such personal subjects. It's dishearting for me to say, but, it is a shame tht i feel,(and anyone should ever have to feel), i need to hide my true self through fear of being alienated and judged by those who wave at me everyday. This place may as well have been founded by Hitler!

One reason my wife and I don't want children is because we'd never want them exposed to such degradation. At the rate we're spiralling downward, by the time they were grown half the population would be queers.

Small towns breed small minds. You need to move to a normal town or city. Edmonton is a dying town and one of the main reasons is this kind of prejudice. The young people get educated and move away. The lazy ones stay and never change much from the "education" they got from their ignorant parents. I would have to say this place is hopeless.
