Theres a dealership called Village Auto in Edmonds, WA thats been around forever. I purchased a 1987 Suburban 4x4 from them with the understanding this truck has 96k miles on it. Seemed like a good deal. All the pics looked nice and she said they had a "signed affidavit of actual mileage." Get the truck here and this thing is a moldy rotten worn out peice of crap and I ran a Carfax and it came up to 196,000 miles. Ive gone to the WA Attorney General with this and they didnt respond. The dealership claims they "were very open and honest about the condition of the vehicle and they were not required to provide an odometer reading other than exempt." A lawsuit is about to ensue. Wanted to let everyone know to stay away from this place. Theyll screw you to make a buck.

We are very sorry for Mr. Cutler's disapointment in his purchase. Buying a 1987 Chevrolet Suburban across the country is a big decision, and we did all we could to disclose everything about the car. We wish he would have requested a used car buyers' inspection prior to shipping his vehicle to Texas. We sold this vehicle at a fair price, and did our best. He paid $2900 for a vehicle with an average retail of $5350.00. The National Motor Vehicle Title Information System does not recommend Carfax. Check out their website BEFORE you make your next used car purchase. They will provide you with VIN# checks that our accurate.

I just noticed the respone to this post, this is going to end up in court. The responses they have sent to the bank has stated I was :very happy with my purchase" and that the Carfax was "full of indiscrepancies"..I guess 1 questionable mileage makes it full of them. NOWHERE have they acknowleged they advertised a truck with 96k miles and sent one with 196k miles, nor di they produce the "written affidavit of mileage" they promised. They knew a rolled odometer was a dealbreaker and hid the truth at every cost. Heres the deal....when a business makes a mistake, the right thing to do is to own up to it...not say "we didnt have to prove it" DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE...and Village Auto....this is not gonna just go away, so get ready. Why dont you guys produce the ad????? Lets see whos wrong now?
