Summerville’s Ashton Cobb will present the History of Kiawah Island at White Gables Clubhouse
Summerville resident Ashton Cobb, author of the 2006 History Press publication, Kiawah Island, A History , will offer a free and open to the public presentation Thursday May 21st at 7:00 Pm in the White Gables Clubhouse in Summerville, SC.
The informal presentation will cover what is known of the history of this South Carolina Lowcountry sea island from the 1700's through the plantation era to the present.
Cobb’s appearance is part of the Third Thursday Speaker Series a collection of informal history themed presentations coordinated and hosted by Summerville realtor Jerry Crotty. For more information or directions contact Crotty at [email protected]
