I am most saddened by the passing of Sylvia Woods,I am also a native of South Carolina.I had the great opportunity of meeting Sylvia, and shared with her of my ongoing endeavors of sharing with our younger generations about growing up in the segregated South, Sylvia like many Blacks of South Carolina left for a better life! Many migrated to Harlem and Brooklyn.I was compelled to put together the booklet "South Carolina's Blacks a great migration to NYC" Sylvia has served us well with her life and left a valuable tip to be treasured, for the future. A-shaa to the "Queen of Soul Food" THanks, for everything! Rosa Mavins Bogar
