On Thursday afternoon my husband, my granddaughter and myself were visiting the beach at Edisto Island. My granddaughter broker her femur. We are from Georgia. Unfamiliar to the area. A young lady sitting on the beach, came to the rescue immediately (she was a prn). Thanks to her quick response our granddaughter was air lifted to the Children's Medical Hospital in Charleston. I did not get her name, I hope she will read this. We would like to say "thank you" very much for your help. Also a special "thanks" to the emt's that responded so quickly and stayed with us until the helicopter arrived. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP.
