This debacle involves Phillipsburg native (now a resident of Saucon Valley) Michael Perrucci, who's also a principal of Sands BethWorks and a partner in the law firm of Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt, and Fader.

Steinhardt is also the Mayor of Lopatcong Township and Chairman of Warren County Republican Committee.(Perrucci is a former Chairman of the Warren County Democratic Committee.)

Other partners of Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt, and Fader include bloomsbury (Hunterdon County) Mahor Mark Beck and Nazareth, PA, attorney Don Souders.

The Ingersoll-Rand fiasco smells of corruption in both major political parties, on both sides of the Delaware Rivers and the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC).

Mike Perrucci through his political connections also got his hands on the 70 acres off Howard Street in P'burg that was supposed to have been New Jersey's Transportation and Railroad Museum.

Preferred is controlled by Mike O'Neill, brother of Brian O'Neill of O'Neill Properties, who is financed by Wolfingtons of Gladwyne/Philadelphia, the favorite money reciever of Edward Rendell. O'Neills controlled the Chester property that recieved state funding. Wolfington/O'Neills controlled the Mountain Laurel Music Facility and lands that Rendell got to them for a song and withour repayment of PA grants/loans.

I guess PA money doesn't float across the Delaware or it would have recieved $40 million of walking around money.

The Sands BethWorks and Ingersoll-Rand redevelopmens were supposed to proceed concurrently. That is why in 2002 under the George W. Bush administration the Office of Management and Budget (OM&B), based on the national census of 2000, included Warren and Hunterdon counties, New Jersey, in the Lehigh Valley Metropolitan Statistical Area while at he same time excluding the city of Newark.

The OM&B excluded Newark because it dragged down the socio-economic-political (and racial) statistics of the newly created lehigh Valley MSA (with its higher percentage of young, caucasian, college-educated geographic.

At the same time, the OM&B excluded Newark in order to deflect federal funds from that city for hospitals and other social services to the newly created Lehgh Valley MSA.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and Northampton County Councilman J. Michael Dowd, representing the county seat of Easton, and Donna Taggart Associates followed OM&B's suit by creating te Greater Easton Development Corporation (GEDC).

The GEDC includes Easton, PA's, neighoring town of Phillipsburg, NJ.

The raw racism in excluding Newark from the Lehigh Valley MSA is amplified by Connectiv Energy and four of its contractors in the construction of its facility in the Lehigh River flood plain of the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

Through a consent agreement negotiated by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in May 2008, Connectiv Energy and four of its contractors paid four black employees $1.65 million for rqcial harassment.
