If my thoughts are correct - democrats have been in control of Congress since 2006, when everything started going downhill. Now, they have control of the Whitehouse and Congress and for the past two years have made things worse. How do you like your "Change" now-- since we are knocking on the door to Socialism?? With Democrats -- get ready for the biggest tax hike in history! If Obama passes the $50 billion stimulus, we will have to pay for it through a tax on gas. Research it!!

The truth is the truth no matter how long it takes for some people to finally realize it. Yes, I am most assuredly a Democrat, and suprise to you, I'm white, and make nearly 200k/year... I wouldn't mind paying the tax if they would go ahead and repeal the Bush tax cuts. That's the only way out grandchildren will possibly be out of debt. If the Republicans regain control they have ABSOLUTELY NO PLAN for reducing debt or deficit, or anything else... but they will raise not only those, but also their own bank balances and those of their "fat cat" friends.
Theirs a "social Issue" at work here and no amount of Red Neck rhetoric can change that.

Democrats were in charge setting up the housing market to go in the crapper. Raising taxes will not stimulate the economy. Putting people back to work is the issue. I want to be able to control my money and how I spend it...not the gov't. If you take away money from the people that own businesses and hire workers, the situation will never change.
