problem with 2000 cavalier door panel

my outide door handle will not open the door. i tried to take off the inside door panel but i couldn't get the manual window lever to come off. how do i take that off?

there is a clip behind the crank its like a snap ring... after that the door panel should come of with ease..check the rods that is a very common problem
