Let me tell you who they realy are; Bloodthirsty/Animals/Monsters/ etc. etc. but not all of them are like that. I am sure there are few good people but they are voiceless minority in the middle legalized gang.

It's ok. MPD is quite ready to accept being kicked in the press. Its a tough job. Dealing with often drunk and/or high citizens.
The armchair-commando's here are tired of getting pinched with their "personal use" amounts of mj, and consider it "theft" when they're relieved of their stash.
They have no idea the feeling of heading toward a "shots fired" call... seeing a dead body in the middle of the street... the trickle of sweat that runs down your back when you know things are about to go to rat sh*t... a foot chase with an armed suspect... a highspeed chase with a stolen car... talking to a bloody victim of a domestic assault who doesn't want to press charges on the guy that pays her rent... nightly events in the city of lakes.
Its easy to kick MPD until you put on the 30+ pounds of gear and log on and are face to face with the evil. The sights, the sounds and especially the smells of evil.

Many in USA and especially Minneapolis suffer what we call "Stockholm Syndrome". They been captives from day one and its normal for SS patients to feel like they are fine. I like when US government talks about other countries and how they violate human rights while US is the most powerful Police State in the whole world. Good luck with your state of denial.

Most Police officers do a great job. The media choses to publish the wrong doing of a few police officers. 98% of what they do is good but this goes unnoticed. Its such a small % that impacts negative feelings toward the police.
Police officers are human, but they are held to a higher standard because of there position of authority
